Dantès Pov

Wassup y'all as yk I'm Dantè I'm 23 India's older brother and Jaleses dad. Jaleses mom died after birth so I've been trying to do my best as a dad. But with the help of my crew and most of all my sister I get the job done. Yeah idk of India told y'all but imma gang leader. She knows the basics of what I do ofc she doesn't like it but she deals with it. She doesn't think I've peeped it but ik she has a crush on my bestfriend and Ik lei has a crush on her Bc that's all she ever talks about. India is very mature for her age so I don't mind if they talk but lei knows my rules.
4:45 am
I walk in the door then go upstairs to take a shower when I see India's door open. I go in there and see india rocking Jalese and ngl I started tearing up Bc she's such a good auntie🥺. She gives me that look that my mom used to give me when I came home late from the trap. "Where you been?" India asked me with a straight face. "I had to take care of something at the trap. Why are you up? You have school. " "One I couldn't go to sleep and two Jalese started crying so I fixed her a bottle and I'm just getting her back to sleep." I try to get my baby but india says no and told me to just take a shower and go to sleep.

I wake up to the smell of eggs, bacon, and pancakes, I go downstairs and see lei, india, veah, and my baby in her high chair. I give veah and india a hug nd me and lei dap each other up, I pick lele up and start playing with her then I fix myself a plate. I hear veah ask india if she was ready to go, she said yeah then told me and lele bye and gave lei a hug and told her bye. Once they left I laid lele on her mat and gave her some toys. I pulled lei to the side to talk to her about her and india. "So I see you and india getting close."

Lei Pov
Wassup y'all I'm leilani but you can call me lei. I'm 20 years old I play basketball and I work with Dantè. I live with my mom but I'm mostly at Dantès house. My dad walked out on us when I was 7 so ion really talk to him like that. Im an assistant coach for a aau basketball team. And I have a big ass crush on Dantès little sister india but I'm scared to make a move Bc of him.

"So I see you and india getting close." I think Dantè has caught on but idk. "Uhhh yeah ig you can say that." I said nervously. "What are your plans with her cus Ik you like her" "i mean if you don't got a problem with it I'd like to take her out." "So yk ion have a problem with y'all dating or talking just don't break her heart or I'll kill you myself" I released a breath I didn't know I was holding but I was happy asf. I dropped lele off at daycare while Dantè headed to the trap. Once I pulled up I walked to Dante's office for a meeting, dayshawn and Shay were already there so I sat between them. "Okay so the reason why I called y'all into a meeting today is because we got some new members that wanna join us" me and Shay looked at each other and started smiling Bc we knew what that meant. After we did what we needed to do we washed our hands and I told Dantè I was gonna head out Bc I was ready to surprise india at school. He said okay and i got my stuff and left.

India gets out at 3:30 and it was 3:15 now so I decided to stop and get us some food,I stopped at McDonald's and got us burgers then headed to my old high school. When I got there I saw india and the twins talking so I turned the car off and put my hands over her eyes. She elbowed me in my stomach and when she saw it was me she started apologizing and helping me up. "Omg lei I'm so sorry are you okay?" "Yeah I'm fine but damn girl you got some strength" she laughed nervously "what are you even doing here tho" " I was gonna surprise you but that didn't turn out to good" "oh okay well let's go" Dayshawn came and got veah and went who knows where. I had already told domo and Danny I was coming to pick her up so they left. She saw the food in the seat and started screaming. "OMGGG LEI IS THIS FOR MEEEE" I started laughing "yes that's for you but aye save me a burger please" she started crying while putting a fry in her mouth. "Awww why are you crying babygirl" she sniffled "it's just yk I love food" I started laughing again "yes Ik you love food"

As I was driving to the mall I looked over and saw a sleeping india. She looked so cute and peaceful. Lord knows this girl loves food and sleeping. We pulled up to the mall and I got out and opened her door then started tapping her. She woke up and started looking around, I told her come on and she asked why and started pouting. I grabbed her hand and said we're going shopping and she popped up then grabbed my hand and we started walking into the mall. She went into bath and body works while I went to lids. I saw her walking out and there was a group of studs looking at her, one of them came over and said "hey little mama you look good" I walked over to her and she gripped onto my arm looking scared. I gave the stud a look and she said "oh my fault Ian know that was your bitch" I turned to her and smacked the shit out of her. I bent down and said "She's not my bitch that's my baby and don't ever let me see you again or imma pop a cap in yo ass" she got up and nodded quickly. I looked at india and she just smiled at me. "Did you really mean that?" "Mean what ma?" "That that I'm your baby" I thought about it and turned to her and said " I mean I want you to be and Dantè said he doesn't have a problem with it" she just looked at me and gave me a big hug. We ended up going to champs, forever 21, h&m, hot topic and lids india tried to pay but I wouldn't let her. On our way out we stopped by auntie Annie's to get some pretzels.
