Chapter 3

Mingye stumbled into the Kim mansion with one slipper and out of breath.

The look Taehyung gave him was uncompromising.Clearly he wasn't in the mood for his lawyer's lousy excuses.The man sleeps around a lot and Taehyung had  happened to catch him off guard the first time.

"Is your math that poor.I said half an hour yet it took you a hour and a half to get here.You are tired of being paid for doing nothing right.You don't value your job now do you?"

"Traffic.Sorry"he said in heavy breaths.

Taehyung rolled his eyes and they said"Come to my study.We have work to do"

After eating Jungkook had his shower.Yuna offered him clean clothes that were obviously big to him and smelt like a certain alpha.He couldn't help but wonder if it was okay for him to wear the man's clothes and sleep in his bed.Yuna was there to assure him that it was alright.

Lawyer Kim had gone back home an hour later after finishing off whatever Taehyung wanted him to do.

Despite it being so late in the night Hoseok came to Taehyung's place to celebrate him being promoted.He owed it to the younger male.Taehyung hadn't left his study since his lawyer arrived.He hadn't changed or eaten because he had something bigger and dangerous on his mind.

"So what do you think?"

Taehyung asked the newly appointed police caption.Out of all his friends Hoseok had been the one who was brutally honest with him.It seems as though the rest were afraid of him.

Hoseok looked at the paper he was holding and then at Taehyung"You know this is more like a slave contract.No one in his right mind would sign this"

"He has to sign it.If he is with me then that's how I can protect him.I don't care if I have to resort to threaten him.That kid has no one in this world"

"So while protecting him you will make use of him"

"That contract is just as excuse.He has to stay with me.I can't make the same mistake I made five years ago.I thought just watching him from far away was enough but clearly it wasn't.Who knows what more he had to go through whilst living alone"

"I never knew you were capable of having such noble thoughts . However he might sign the contract but he might start hating you instead"

"I will live with that.You know being hated doesn't fase anymore.What can I expect when my own mother desipes me to the depths of hell"the younger alpha started spacing out.

"Taehyung"

"Let's have dinner before you go.I don't want to eat alone tonight"the younger said softly.

"You haven't eaten?"

"Not yet.Join me"

"Sure.I want to see Jungkook afterwards"

"You will see him some other time.Not today"Taehyung's tone turned stern

"That is if he doesn't run away.You are way too possessive"

"Don't jinx it"Taehyung gritted out.

"Just saying", the older shrugged and led the way out of the study.

Jungkook kept twisting and shuffling in Taehyung's bed.The bed was very comfy but he just couldn't bring himself to fall asleep.Whenever he closes his eyes ,he sees that man.The alpha's eyes were haunting him.

"I suggest you make yourself at home, Jungkook"a voice said besides him.

The omega jumped and sat up on the bed.He didn't register when the alpha had come into the room.He pulled the covers and moved a little bit from the alpha.
