Chapter 7

Jungkook glanced at the bedside table and starred at the clock there.It seems as if time wasn't moving at all.He could say his day was well spent but waiting for a certain someone wasn't easy.How could he missing  someone he had just met recently.Something must be definitely wrong with him.

He heard a gentle tap on the door which got his attention.

"Come in"

The ever so graceful Ms Yeo walked into the room and smiled at the omega."Taehyung is home and he wishes that you have dinner with him"

Jungkook was taken aback by the request"He said what?"

"He  waits you in the dinning room and I have come to escort you"

"Crap.Whats wrong with that man"he cursed out loud.

"Shall we?"

"You could have given him some excuses.Just tell him I have slept and I have already eaten"

"I'm afraid that I can't lie"

"Ma'am"Jungkook whined like a spoilt brat who hadn't succeed in getting what he wanted.

"Why are you avoiding him when you should be spending time with each other and getting to know more of each other"

"It's not that I don't want to be with him.I respect Taehyung but I feel strange when I'm around him"

"How do you feel?"

",Do you really have to know'

"If I can be of help to you then yes"

"He makes me feel  shy and all gidy.It makes me look silly .I also don't know why I miss him when he is not here but when he is here I'm hesitant to see him"

"You are an omega and he is an alpha so it's normal for him to have that effect on you"

"That's the possible explanation right ?"

"Yes, now go.Dont keep him waiting any longer."

"Ok"

Jungkook had never been in the dinning room because he didn't have a reason to.He didn't have any idea as to what it looked like.So when he arrived there he took his time looking around without acknowledging the alpha's presence.

Taehyung sat at the head of the table and watched the omega closely.He seemed fascinated by his surroundings.

The table was huge and had a gold and white colors.A chandelier light was dangling in the ceiling.Potraits hanging on the walls.Taehyung definitely had a great eye for details.One word to describe the enterior of his house would be royalty.

"The food will get cold.You have your whole life to stare at everything in this room."

"Sorry, I got carried away"Jungkook said and sat opposite the alpha.

"How was your day?"Taehyung started as he fixed a napkin on himself.

"It was okay"Jungkook said as he did what the alpha did.He didn't have any experience at the dinner table whatsoever.

"You didn't do anything fun"

"No and you?"Jungkook asked as he scanned the table.There were candles , different glasses as well as cutelary.He could only see this kind of setting in a movie.Both their plates had already been set.

"The same old thing.Day in day out"

"I see"

With that the pair started eating in comfortable silence.Jungkook enjoyed indulging in traditional Korean dishes but ever since his arrival he had only been served with regular international dishes.Maybe everything was cooked to Taehyung's taste.Right now he wasn't going to complain since he had a roof over his head and food to keep him alive.Thats all that was important at the moment.

When   they were done ,Yuna and another maid came to clear the table

"Thanks for the food .I ate well"

"You don't have to thank us sir.We are just doing our job"Yuna said brightly

Jungkook wanted to say something back but the look on Taehyung's face changed his mind.

"Let's go to bed"the alpha's tone was uncompromising yet Jungkook failed to register it.

"I thought I should go help in the kitchen.I really don't have anything to do now.I have been sleeping most of the day"

Taehyung's face harderned"That's not your job.Let them do what they get paid for"

"But..

This time the alpha's temper flared"Did I say something wrong that you want to start an urgement with me Jungkook?"

"No,I didn't want to argue at all"he whispered

"Good.If you are quite ready shall we?"

Jungkook sighed and walked ahead of the alpha.Without a doubt Taehyung didn't want him to associate himself with the house helpers in any way.He was strongly against it.But why?What was so bad about having friends.Just what kind of life had Taehyung planned for him.Did he want the omega stays in his room all day doing nothing with no one to talk to.Is this what he meant by  life sentence.

And what was that out burst.Was it at all necessary.Was Taehyung already taking out his work stress on the poor omega.Ms Yeo had said that the alpha easily gets in a bad mood when something isn't going his way.

Just by looking at him , Jungkook could tell that Kim Taehyung didn't like being disobeyed in any way.His whole being and deminour screamed power and authority.The alpha wasn't any easy person to be around.

Right away after reaching their room Jungkook climbed into the bed and got underneath the covers.Taehyung loosened his necktie and stood near the bed.

"Try to get up early tomorrow.You and I have somewhere to be"the older said

Jungkook had his back faced the alpha so he acted like he hadn't heard him.

", Jungkook I'm talking to you.I know you aren't sleeping"the alpha pulled his necktie off his neck in frustration.

"Ok I heard you"he whispered.

"What are so mad about?"Taehyung wasn't blind.There must be a reason why the omega had been acting detached since they left the dinning room.

"I'm not mad , Taehyung.Why would I be?You read me wrong"Ha Lying is just too easy.Did Taehyung deserve the cold shoulder.Definately

Seconds later Jungkook heard footsteps going to the direction of the bathroom.Of course he was sad and mad at the same time.Did Taehyung really think that his anger tantrum didn't affect the omega.Of course it did.

One Jungkook was sad because he was denied his only friend and first friend.Two,he was mad because Taehyung had already started treating him like he owns him.Yes he was over a decade  older than him but it that how things were gonna be in their marriage?

"I still haven't graduated yet I have to put up with some alpha's anger tantrum.Im still too young for this"Jungkook mumbled to himself.He shifted and buried his head under the pillow in frustration.

Minutes later Taehyung came out of the bathroom and went to change into something comfortable.

"I will be in the study"

"Noted"Jungkook said.For the entire time that Taehyung was in the bathroom he had shifted about a dozen times without any luck of falling asleep.
