My emerald eyes scanned the elevator, watching as it took me up. I flipped the silver coin in between my fingers, I felt it as it landed on my knuckles, I rolled it side to side then flicking it to my other hand. I then continued to do this till I heard the indication that I reached the top floor, I immediately stopped the coin in between my ring and index fingers.

I straightened up my patterned tie and fixed my posture. The metal elevator door opened up as I stepped into the crime scene. "Negotiator on site." He started walking away knowing I finally arrived. "Repeat, negotiator on site."

I walked up to the table on the side of the elevator doors. I picked up the picture, it was of a family of three. My sensors scanned their faces 'Phillips, John' that has to be the father. 'Phillips, Caroline' the mother. 'Phillips, Emma' and finally the daughter.

I then walked up to the tank to try and pick up the fish that escaped, while bending down to reach the struggling fish, the mother arrived with the face of distress. "Oh, oh please, please, you gotta save my little girl..." she looked at my face, hers turned to shock. "Wait..." she looked down at my uniform. "You're sending an android..?"

"Alright ma'am we need to go"

I watched as he took her arm, dragging her out of the building. "You can't- you can't do that! You W- Why aren't you sending a real person?!" My orders popped up to the side. 'Find captain Allen'

I walked further into the home, scanning the room, I watched as the captain walked in circles while panicking. "Captain Allen? My name is Meliodas. I'm the android sent by Cyberlife." He ignored my introduction.

"It already shot down two of my men...we could easily get it, but they're on the edge of the balcony. If it falls." The captain turned to me with a serious look. "She falls." I calculated on what I should say next. "Do you know it's name?"

"I haven't got a clue, does it matter?"

I looked at him confused. "I need information to determine the best approach." Allen ignored me once more. "Do you know if it's been behaving strangely before this?" He sighed, walking up to me. "Listen. Saving that kid is all that matters. So either you deal with this fucking android now, or I'll take care of it."

I watched him walk away. 'Shit. Probability is going down.' I walked off now investigating the living room, I looked down at the floor seeing a case that use to hold a gun. I decided the analyze it to see if there's anything I'm missing.

I scanned the box of ammunition. '.355 Ammunition' the velocity was 365m/s, the energy of the amber bullet was 659j, it's weight was 115 grams with a power factor of 414k.

I scanned the case to find out what type of gun it was. 'Ms853 black Hawk.' It could hold up to seventeen rounds of bullets.

The deviant stole the gun.

I decided to learn more about the hostage next. It was dark with the computer being the only thing lighting the room, I examined the iPad that was laying next to it, playing the video that was on it.

It was the hostage introducing the deviant to the listener. "This is Daniel, the coolest android in the world! Say hi, Daniel!" The deviant had a grin on his face, then saying his response. "Hello." Good, I leaned it's name.

I looked down at the ground seeing a pair of headphones, it was still playing music. 'She wasn't able to hear the gunshots.' Seeing that I investigated everything in her room, I walked out headed to the dinning room.

The dad was laying on the broken furniture, he was bleeding out. I scanned him, there were a few bullet wounds on him, one on his left kidney with fatal abdominal trauma, another on his lower lung hemorrhage with internal bleeding.

'The father was going to buy a new android, and with the deviant not wanting to be replaced, He attacked the family-'

My thoughts were interrupted with gunshots, I looked over seeing the officer dead on the ground. I looked over the now rotting body to see his weapon, I decided to pick it up for a bargaining chip. Now seeing as I investigated everything here, I decided to check out the kitchen before facing the deviant.

I looked on the stove to see a pot, 'Looks like they were about to have dinner.' I turned off the heat to make sure it didn't burn, I scanned one final time. 'That's everything in this area'
I decided it was finally time to face Daniel.

I walked up to the curtains that were separating the home from the balcony, opening it slightly. I walked through the tiny slit of the curtain, But before I could do anything else, the deviant shot me.

"Stay back! Don't come any closer or I'll jump!"
The girl began to struggle in his bloody arms. "No! No, please! I'm begging you!" He immediately put the gun to her head, backing up closer to the edge.

"Go, go, go!"

"Hi Daniel." His face widened. "How....-" I cut him off. "My name is Meliodas." "How do you know my name!?" I cautiously walked up to him, "I know a lot of things about you. I've come to get you out of this!" I walked closer, but the sound of the helicopter ruined everything. 'Shit! They're making things worse!'

I kept walking up to him, "I know you're angry, Daniel. But you need to trust me, and let me help you." I tried to calm him down to help out the chances.

"I don't want your help! Nobody can help me! All I want is for all this to stop... I...I just want all this to stop!"

I was still walking closer to him, but his fear caught me. "Are you armed!?" I decided to throw in the bargaining chip. "Yes. I have a gun" he moved his gun to me. "Drop it! No sudden moves or ill shoot!" I slowly grabbed the gun and tossed it aside.

"There, no more gun."

I started walking up to him again, "They we're going to replace you and you became upset. That's what happened right?" He closed his eyes tightly and looked down. "I thought I was part of the family. I thought I mattered...." He moved the gun to girls head once more. "But I was just their toy, something to throw away when you're done with it..."

"I know you and Emma were very close. You think she'd betray you- but she's done nothing wrong." He pushed the gun closer to her head. "She lied to me...I thought she loved me...but I was wrong...she's just like all the other humans..."

"Daniel, no..."

"Listen, I know it's not your fault. These emotions are just errors in your software." He opened up his eyes and looked me straight in the eye. "It's not my fault...I never wanted this...I loved them...you know..? But I was nothing to them!"

"You have to trust me Daniel, let the hostage go and I promise you everything will be fine." Daniel then started to cry. "I don't want to die..but- I'll let her go.." he then slowly dropped the girl, she then ran to the ground, unable to go any further.

I then looked at him with a smirk as they shot him to pieces.
