Bakugo x reader (Part 1)

         It was starting to get late in the day as the car pulled in. The class had gone through a full day training exercise. It was for fighting stamina, so the trial would last for 2 hours each. The class was divided into groups of 3 or 4. Your group, unfortunately, was last. This meant you had to wait for all the other team's to go through their fights. You sat in the common room of the dorms waiting in your hero suits. One member of the team was posing as the villain while the others had to fight them. Each group was chosen by the teachers and the fighting areas were real places surrounded by real people, meaning the heroes had to watch out for civilians as well as themselves and the general "destruction". The villain's goal was to capture the heroes and put them in a cage. The heroes, since it was for stamina, couldn't capture the villain, just fight. It was finally your turn to go.

You were now sitting in the back of All Might's car on the far right. Midoriya sat in the passenger's seat in front of you. Todoroki was sandwiched between you and an awfully quiet Bakugo. As All Might drove he asked a few questions regarding everyone's progress with quirks and strategies. Midoriya was in charge of the radio, and you quietly sang along. At first Bakugo told everyone to shut up, but then Todoroki commented that it would be boring and awkward if the ride was silent. There was light conversion between the few of you and a bunch of pondering on the training on Midoriya's part.

All Might pulled up at the riverbank in the middle of the city. You all got off and walked to where Aizawa sensei was. "As you can tell, the environment is beneficial for y/n's quirk. So therefore you will be the villain; the cage is over there." He pointed to the same cage that had served as jail during the class 1A and 1B training matches. "Begin."

Bakugo immediately blasted you into the water. You let the blast throw you into the river. Once fully submerged, you made an air bubble and stayed under there. You thought for a bit about what to do. You were able to control water and produce a certain amount of water but that wouldn't be necessary. You were unaffected by water pressure, could habitually stay dry, control the form of water, and the force of impact.

You heard some ice forming above you. "Oh no you don't." You muttered. You shot up with so much force that the thin layer broke. You remained in the air, lifted by pillars of water connected to your feet. As presumed, Bakugo was in the air ready to attack while Todoroki was sliding around the river. You were fighting them off with the current of the river helping you but you couldn't find Deku.

'Is he underwater?' you thought. 'Or behind me?' your question was answered by you getting tackled and launched forward. "WAAAKK!" Was the only thing heard when you flipped and elbowed him into the water. You leaned back and up, the water enforcing these movements. You dodged a few attacks and made sure Deku made it out. The choking noise he was making distracted you a bit until Bakugo yelled, "Oi Professor Callahan! Keep your eyes on your biggest opponent." You looked down and noticed your feet and how the way the water connected to you resembled the movie Big Hero 6. You smirked, "I didn't know you were a Disney nerd, Katsuki~" you teased. He blasted his way towards you and you prepared for a brawl. He came close and you noticed Shoto helping Deku on the riverbank. They were ready to jump in the fight so you put up a strong barrier between you & Bakugo, and them. You looked back and barely noticed Bakugo's angry face as he tackled you into the water. You instinctively made yourself a small bubble around your mouth and nose, and stayed dry under the water and wrestled with him for a bit. His face started turning red so you made him a bubble too. "What?!" He snarled. "Why are you helping me, idiot we're fighting!" His voice echoed as if you were in an aquarium. "Well I wouldn't want you to die, that would be a boring fight." "Tch, whatever." He said while throwing a punch. It was much slower than his usual ones so you were able to dodge easily, water being your safe space. "Just quit while you're at it Bakugo, you're not going to hit me." He made a face and grabbed your shirt, "If you're so good at this, then make it a fair fight."
