One

I was out shopping with a few friends. The wind was fairly strong and it was fairly hot for it to be the middle of May, June was closing in fast and the heat was rising and falling like the sun. Hints the hot body, I was ready to show off at the beaches, it was already going to be limited. I lived in a medium sized mansion that my parents left me yet, I wasn't alone. I had my dog Jupiter and my small goldfishes but love was slim to none.

We were heading to a small cafe downtown. We all grabbed our lattes in which I will enjoy because I could only have em once a day, I sat across my best friend Zoe.

"So what are you going to name the baby Love?" She asked sipping her mocha. I tapped the cup, taking a deep breath.

"I don't know yet bestie. Everytime I could sit down to think, Marshall's stupid ass would pop in my brain and I am not naming my child after his ass." I said as I licked whipped cream from the cup.

She laughed, "I know that's right.. you still going to do a gender reveal, Amy cannot stop talking about that and a baby shower!" She said.

I fumbled with the cup, "It would look so stupid to just stand Infront of a whole bunch of people, alone and do a reveal. I just-- can I let you know?" I desperately asked.

Everyone wanted to do something nice for me but I am one of those people whose pride gets in the way. I don't take much and I didn't want to sound desperate. I was going to have this baby and I was going to keep my baby.. no matter what.

"Of course.. but you know we always have our annual sleepovers so look, how about tonight, me and the girl come over. We can have a sleepover, watch the stars and we drink but I know you can't really drink, damn. " She said.

" Well there's plenty of room, so yes of course we can. I kinda wanted to head to that planetarium park they have a good spot for a small gathering!" I said.

She looked at me and smiled, " Seriously that would be cool Lovelle. In a couple hours, you wanna head to the grocery store?" She asked.

" Of course. Let the girls know to bring their jammies and we can party!" I yelled raising my cup up in the air.

" Yess!!! But your a month pregnant.." she said.

" Honey I am fine, I am not showing yet but I can still shake my ass and have a good time for now before my ankles start swelling." I said laughing.

" Hahahahaha!! Right!! Okay it's a party, it's a party!!" She said.

After another hour, I drove home and a thunderstorm was sounding like it was coming in. " Way to spoil the damn party. " I said to myself as I smacked the steering wheel. I really want to do this.

I pulled into the small gates that opened up and I parked my car. I grabbed my bags and something didn't feel right. Lightning strikes but it's still light outside. I wonder what that meant, another crack of thunder and then nothing.

" Hmm weird. Solar system acting strange." I said as I unlocked my door and Jupiter, my dog came up to me. He knew I was pregnant so he didn't jump like he normally would but he was smart.

I walked into the kitchen and turned on the television. The news was on and they advised that a comet was due to pass by or hit the earth. A small one at that.. they were watching it all this week, floating around in our solar system.

I would often come outside after dark, lay in the grass and watch the stars or just take my telescope and look at the galaxies. I haven't did it much lately because my mind had been set on other things in my world. Living with out my parents and my "supposedly" fiancee but that ship sailed.
