People say nothing bad happens during the day. They were wrong, something bad happen to me. My best friend Julian spent two years in prison for trying to save my life... but he failed. Everyone thought I was dead... but I became something much worse...
I stared ahead waiting for my so-called "date" to arrive. He's ten minutes late, I swear he better give me a good reason not to kill him. I hear someone coming my way and I turn to see one of the leaders, Michael Joesph Langley, running towards me.
"Sorry I had to go get some gas." He says
I scoff at him while I take a small napkin out of my purse and clean his side neck, which has a smudge of purple lipstick.
"Don't fucking lie to me. For once in your life think about the mission and not your dick." I snap then turn around heading towards the door of the entrance where the Masquerade Ball is being held. Mike walks up to me and wraps his arm around my waist I put my arm up ready to elbow him but he was quick enough to stop me.
"Look I have the invitation these people expect us to be a couple so can you do me a favor and act like we are." Mike sternly whispers
"I should be the one telling you that you horny bast-"
"Invitation please." A security guard interrupts me. Mike hands him the invitation while the other security guard eyes me up and down and then smirks, I scoff horny dawgs. I put my hand on Mike's arm as much as I don't want to touch him or be near him I have to act like his girlfriend.
"Alright, you two may enter." The security guard says and opens the door for us. We entered and many people were talking, music playing in the background I would catch people staring at us.
"By the way, you look beautiful in that dress and I like what you did with your hair," Mike comments as he stares down at me.
I roll my eyes. "Whatever." I decided to curl my brown hair, do my makeup, and wear a one-shoulder black faded blue dress, on the side, it has natural diamonds, and decided to wear high heels(which I hate wearing) and a mask. I look at Mike to see his outfit, which he doesn't look that bad.
