It was any other Friday night for me shop closed for the weekend, I was sitting at the bar downtown looking to get laid. I was tired of the same old same old every time I tried dating a girl. They never wanted more. I wanted to get married and have kids. They wanted to party and get drunk. So I've given up for a while and maybe one day the girl of my dreams will find me. A pretty enough blonde approached me where I was sitting at the bar. How about a dance cowboy? she asked me. I rolled my eyes reminding myself this is why I avoided bars. Not tonight hun. she walked away at my response. I left the bar after that deciding this life wasnt for me either.
My two-bedroom apartment felt so empty with just me. Jasper my roommate not roommate was out with his friend Kiara tonight. Swear that guy will never not be a couch surfer. In another couple weeks he will move on to someone else's couch and I will be all alone again in this apartment. I turned the Xbox on content to be alone for the evening realizing after switching the console on that Jasper hadn't put my game back in after he got done playing another, while I was up switching the games, I went ahead and grabbed a beer out of the fridge.
