I really didn't want to go home. After some food my high was starting to ware off. If I went home I would be alone with my thoughts and I didn't want that. Glad my cousin was down for a park to chill in. It was almost one am by the time we pulled up to the park. The only park in our rinky dink town. But it was almost brand new due to a flood a few years back destroying the old equipment.
I ran out of the car almost two eagerly to swing on the swings. Kiara followed laughing. Jasper stayed behind by the car. Starting to think he doesn't like me being around. Kiara joined me on the swings. Almost instantaneously lighting a cigarette as she did. I just stared mouth agape. "You okay little cuz?" She asked. "I'm fine." I stammered. "Wanna try one? If you smoke a menthol it'll make your high stronger." She stated matter of factly. I thought in my head fuck it what do you have to lose at this point. "Alright ill try it." I told her. "Only if you're sure and fair warning it'll feel like you sucked real cold air to the back of your throat at first."
She handed me a cigarette and a lighter. Man she wasn't wrong about the cold air part. I felt instantly buzzed again which came as a surprising relief. Jasper finally wondered over about halfway through my cigarette. With a disappointing look on his face he just said "Shitty habit to pick up on Blossom." I told him "Oh I know but I'm out of fucks to give the world about it." He smirked at that and I thought maybe he does like me being around.
