The next day and
the start of the weekend
Lihn pov

My phone rings loudly next to my bed. I answer it without looking.

"Hello?"
"Do you know what time it is!" I hear someone bark on the other line.

I pull the phone away from my face and read the caller
Mother

"Hmm my clock says 1pm." I reply.
"And what time did you say you would come home?"
"Like 1- oh. Well push that to hmm let's say 3pm." I say sitting up in my bed.

"No. 3pm will not work because we need to be at the dinner party at 4pm." She explains.

"Ugh why do I have to go again? On my weekend!" I complain.

"Because I said so now get dressed I have clothes for you to wear here. Jisung will come pick you up in ten minutes." And with that she hangs up the phone.

"Who was that?" Seonghwa says groggily from across the room.

"My mother." I say with a sigh.

"Oh. Do I need to leave?" He says sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

"Yeah, sorry I forgot that was today." I say walking over to him.

"It's cool I'm just planning to lay around all day anyway." He says pulling me into a hug.

"Why are you over here? Did I kick you again?"
"Maybe." He says into my shoulder.
We both laugh.

"Well if we were at your place we'd have more room for my kicking." I say standing up.
"Wow very subtle Lihn." He says.

He pulls on his clothes from yesterday and I pull on a somewhat decent shirt and some jeans.

"Alright I'll see you... Monday?" He says halfway out the window.
"Not sure yet. I'll probably be back on Sunday."
"Okay. Bye." He says giving me one of if signature heart-melting smiles.
"Bye", I say.

I close my window and find some shoes to wear. Once I pull them on Ji calls me.

"Yeah?" I answer.

"I'm here."

"K I'll b-"
"Where are the mens dorms?"

"A few down. Why?" I respond.

"Well then someone totally had someone over because some guy is walking from your section to the parking lot." He says.

"Ha ha weird I don't know." I say sweating, "I'll be out in a minute."

My life couldn't get any more stressful.
Right?

Once home I flop onto the sofa and have three seconds of silence before the yelling starts.

"Linh! Go take a shower and wear the clothes that I laid out on your bed! Now!" Mother yells from the kitchen.

I drag myself to my room and emerge half an hour later clean and properly dressed.

"Much better. I mean what boy would like you dressed all raggedy. We have to leave earlier than anticipated by the way. So, I suggest you run a comb through that hair."
