(2nd person pov)
"Y/n dear could you go get your brothers it's almost night fall" you mother said cleaning up the kitchen. "Of course! I will be back in a little bit" You said putting your haori on. You walked in the snow as the sun was setting little did you know a creature was stalking you.
Douma had taken an interest in you after you accidentally bumped into him a few weeks ago. You didn't even remember bumping into him. He was originally planning on eating you but decided against it. So now he stands in the shadow letting small flurries land in his blond and silver hair, watching you from afar.
You hugged the thin haori closer to your body as the freezing air was now getting to you. You walked until you found your brothers friends home and knocked on the door. Douma watched you, pitying you knowing if you were a demon the cold wouldn't bother you.
When the door opened you saw a lady a bit taller then you that you recognized as you brother friends mom. "Ah hello y/n, I assume you are here for you brothers?" She asked letting you inside. "Yes I am" you said still a bit cold.
Both of your brothers ran to you and hugged you "Née-san!" Both of your brother said in unison. "Its time to go home" you said taking one of their hands in each of yours. "Goodbye miss r/ln!" You said leaving her home.
"Née-san can me and b/n race each other home?" Your brother asked. "Sure just be safe" you said letting them run ahead of you. You looked down at the ground to make sure snow doesn't get in your eyes.
You walked until you bumped into a tall figure. "Ah Im so sorry about that!" You said bowing to his. "It's ok, things like that happen sometimes" he said in a happy sing song voice. You looked up to see a 6'2 blond haired man with pastel rainbow eyes with the kanji upper rank 2 in them.
"Im douma" the guy said happily. "Oh I'm y/n, nice to meet you!" You said shaking his hand. "I must get going it was nice to meet you though!" You said cheerfully running past him to get home. "Maybe I will spare her, she is quite beautiful" douma said under his breath completely forgetting he was supposed to be hunting.
After that first encounter you and douma became very close friends and would constantly visit his temple. You would bring his homemade cookies and other treats such as cupcakes.
He was always very kind to you along with his cult members, the cult members even considered you family.
"Douma-kun why do your eyes have a kanji in them?" You asked politely. "Oh honestly I don't know I was just born with them" he responded. "Oh sorry for asking!" You quickly apologized. "Its ok y/n-chan, you know your really pretty" he said laying in the grass. You and douma were watching the stars in the night sky. "Oh thank you douma-kun, you are also very pretty" you said giggling at your statement.
It had now been one year after you and douma met. Your mother would let you sleep over at doumas very often, you even had your own room there.
"Y/n-chan~ what are you looking at?" Douma asked walking up too you as you looked out the window. "It's snowing" you said pointing at the snowflakes. "Funny, we met in the snow didn't we?" Douma asked. "Yes we did" you answered.
Douma stood by your side for a bit longer until he asked you a question. "Hey y/n, do you like anyone?" He asked. "Hm? Oh well I like your cult members, you, my brothers" "no I mean like do you have a crush on anyone?" Douma asked cutting you off.
Your face slightly warmed up as you thought about his question. "Hmm, Im almost positive I like this guy" you said still in thought. "Who?" Douma asked. "Well I can't tell you silly" you said looking up at him. "Why not?" He asked a bit hurt.
"Well douma I fear that if I tell you he might find out" you said choosing your words carefully. "But y/n I wouldn't tell him I promise" he said almost begging you childishly. "But douma if I told you I would he telling him silly" you said turning away from the window and walking away. Leaving Douma standing there stunned.
The next morning you walked back home as your mother requested leaving Douma all day to think about what you said the night before. "Hello mother" you said walking inside. "Hello y/n dear, have you found any possible husbands? You are 19 now" you mother said cleaning up. "No not yet" you said helping her put away dishes.
It was around noon and you were making lunch for your brothers. over the past couple of weeks multiple boys your age had come to your home asking to marry you. Already having someone in mind you would always decline. "Y/n!" You mother yelled. "Coming" you said washing up and going to find your mother.
You walked over to her to see she was talking to someone with the door open. "One second" she said closing the door. "Y/n dear, one of the villagers is offering a ton of money for you to marry his son, what do you say?" You stood there shocked, not thinking your mother would ever say such a thing. "Mother, I already have someone in mind. I just haven't told him. So please tell them I decided to decline their offer." You said with your hands on your mothers shoulders.
She looked at you with stars in her eyes happy that her daughter might have found someone. She quickly nodded and went to talk to the man.
"Mother I'm going to go see douma!" You said putting your sandals and haori on. "Alright dear stay safe!" She said.
You walked out of your home and headed to Doumas temple. Upon arriving you opened the doors letting yourself in. "Hello miss y/n" one of the cult members said. "Ah hello, where is Douma?" You asked hanging up your haori. "He should be in his room at the moment" she said.
You walked up the large staircase leading to doumas room. As you found his door you knocked awaiting and answer. "Come in!" Douma said. You slowly opened to door to see douma looking stressed. "Douma-kun are you alright?" You asked, he tuned around not expecting to see you.
He quickly walked up to you and held your hands in his. "Y/n L/n, will you marry me and become my wife?" He asked with a big smile on his face. "Yes douma I will" you said happy that he asked. "Oh thank goodness you said yes" he said wrapping you in a big hug. "Oh I also got you this" he said holding up a beautiful rig. It was silver with your f/c gemstone in the middle and your second f/c gemstones on the sides.
You gently took the rig from his fingers as his face was still buried in your neck, you put it on your finger. "Thank you douma, its gorgeous" you said hugging him back.
