Chapter 13

Serenity waited for her Scouts. She was sitting at the Scouts Table in a large room. Above the room was another glass dome.

The table she sat at had each planet carved into it. At the top of the circle was the moon crescent for Serenity. To the left of her, it went in order from Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, and Jupiter. Across from Serenity was Sun. After Sun, it was Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. An empty seat sat next to Serenity on her right. It was blank and for anyone. She had sat there a few times with her mother. Rarely, the King would sit there. But for now, it was empty and collecting dust.

Serenity rubbed her stomach. The thought if the baby confronted her for a bit.

Her eyes flinched open as the Sailors walked in single file. They all sat down in their spots. A few were talking to the other and smiling. Serenity smiled to find all of her friends sitting around her. It had been a long time since she had seen most of these Sailors.

"Okay." Serenity told the girls. All of them hushed and looked her way. "There is a war."

"What does it have to do with us?" Tellus asked. She had her green hair pulled back in a bun with a ribbon wrapped around it. Two pieces of her hair went on each side if her face. Her dark green eyes and pale skin have her a graceful look. As far as Serenity knew, she is married King Aethlios and already had a son. She was also the Queen of Earth and Sailor Earth.

"I need you all to help me. Hilarus is a powerful man and I have no idea what he had up his sleeve. All I know is that he is not planning on fighting fair. Which is why you are all here. I need protection." Serenity looked at Tellus then connected eyes with everyone.

"Can't the Inner Sailors do this job? They have before." Reiji asked. Her orange hair was radiant against her tan skin. Her hair was pulled back into a tiny pony tail and like Tellus, her pair was split in two so each would go on each side of her face. As Queen of the Sun, she was a spit fire.

Hestia looked over at her. "Reiji!"

"Better watch your mouth." Hers warned Reiji.

Sailor Sun shot her a look. "Well, excuse me for asking."

"I'm pregnant."

The commotion stopped as ten pairs of eyes looked at her. Everyone was speechless. Hestia gave her a look like she had done something wrong.

"Your not married yet?" Athena told Serenity. Her flipped her long pale blue hair over her shoulder. Since she was Mercury, she sat right next to Serenity. Her white gloved hand grabbed Serenity's.

"No. Sin and I are getting married in a week. I just found out I was pregnant and the news hasn't gotten out yet." Serenity narrowed her eyes to challenge them. "And I plan on not telling till after the wedding."

They all nodded and finally realizing how important this is. The heir to the thrown is in the center if a war.

"When does the war start?" Kore asked. In charge of Pluto, her green hair was pulled up in a high bun and all of her hair was out of her face. Her outfit was a dark black and she held a scepter in her hand. She was the Sailor of time.

Serenity shook her head. "Now."

Saturn nodded. She was born blind and now her eyes were a light purple. Even though Iuventas couldn't see, she can sense life. But also destroy it in a blink of an eye with her staff. "We will fight with you."

Amphitrite, Sailor Neptune, nodded with Saturn to agree. Her wavy sea green hair had a brocade beaded hat on top.

"Thank you. I really do appraise all the help." Serenity told all her friends with a gracious smile.

"It is our honor to help you." Theia told Serenity while everyone agreed. She had shaggy blonde hair that was braided from the sides to the back. Theia was ruler for Uranus.

Everyone talked once more. They all smiled and nodded as each one discussed the plan. A few turned to Serenity to hear about the baby news.

Then the double doors opened. Sin appeared as the doors opened. "Queen Serenity! Hilarus has citizens coming toward the castle right now."
