There are many pros and cons to waking up at 4am to make your husbands lunch.
The pros:
♡ I get to watch the beautiful Australian morning sunrise
♡ I have some time to myself while the kids are asleep
♡ My husband loves my homemade lunches
The cons:
♡ Its so much work
♡ I don't get enough sleep whatsoever
I leaned on the bench, staring at the sun peak through the tall trees surrounding my house. There was nothing better then a soft greeting from a stunning Australian sunrise and the beautiful music of birds welcoming a new day. I heard heavy thuds echo through the hallway. To any other person it would sound like a giant was invading their home but to me it sounded like a gentle giant full of love approaching me. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach as large arms embraced me. I had always felt so safe and so secure with my husbands arms around me. I gave him a kiss as I heard tiny footsteps trot down the hallway. Hair like a lions mane, my 7 year old daughter waddles out squinting. She wrapped her arms around her father and gave me a tight little squeeze. I smiled and looked back out the window. Oh how lucky I was.
