When the clock strikes 12 ( EXO Fanfic) [~*HIATUS*~]

"SIR WE JUST FOUND ANOTHER BODY AT THE CRIME SCENE!"

We leaned forward at the body that has been brought forward. The air was immediately filled with the smell of petrol. Her body felt icy cold as i softly move my hand across her arm. Her eyes were still opened, eye lids looking kind of swollen. Her blood shot eyes stared straight into the darkness. Her floral dress looked dark and dull unlike those bright floral dresses seen in advertisements. Her mouth opened slightly, lips swollen and purple.

"ITS SNSD'S NEW MANAGER!" Sehun screamed while looking at the dead body. My jaw dropped in utter disbelief. The sweet girl that helped me out with EXO and chatted with me during our free time. The sweet girl that had a smile that would melt anyone (even a girl). The sweet girl that almost killed Chen and the whole of EXO. She didn't die peacefully, her eyed were still wide open. Upon further inspection by the forensic scientists, a scorpion tattoo was found at the right side of her waist.

*No way.* I thought as my eyebrows furrowed. I sighed, lowering my head and clasping my hands together. Closing my eyes, I prayed for the dead girl silently before stepping out of the room. Chills ran down my spine one last time before warm air from the outside welcomed me.

I felt a hand landing on my shoulder. It was heavy but comforting, making me feel assured and lifting that huge rock in my heart a little. I turned behind and look at him straight into his eyes. He gave me a simple nod, pulling me closer to him. The sides of his mouth raised, showing a small but reassuring smile.

I return him an uncertain smile.

A few weeks later, Chen didn't recover so fast but he was able to walk around now. Although he still wasn't able to talk that fast, his insults were definitely back.

"YA BAEKHYUN why did u bring socks with holes for me? Just one hole is enough for me to wear the sock! Does your brain have a hole as well? Huh?!"

"YAYAYA be grateful that i tried to bring clothes for you ok. I think i like you better when you are not talkimg so much. ISH." Baekhyun side-eyed Chen before pulling the bag over his shoulder.

*beep beep*
I pulled out my phone slowly and carefully, while balancing a bag on my other hand. I squint at the small words on the lockscreen before i unlocked my phone to read the message.

From: Unknown

Hi we meet again :) Don't you miss me?

My brows furrowed at the message. *Not again....* My fingers scrolled down slowly, trembling.

The light infront of you seem so bright. The light's gone, darkness took its place. You seemed scared, but it's now all over.Watch me ruin your bright future. Oh wait, you can't. :)

My mouth quavered and my hands lost my grip, causing my phone to drop to the ground. My eyes blinked furiously with my brows slightly furrowed. *What's going to happen this time...* Goosebumps surfaced onto my skin as i shivered a little. My mind was blank.

"Hey you ok?" Suho patted my back and ushered me towards the exit of the hospital. I gave him a small nod before moving in small steps towards the entrance.

"OPPA ARE YOU OK!"
"Oppa i miss you!"
"EXO SARANGHAE"
"OPPA I REALLY LOVE YOU"

Fans covered the entrance. The overwhelming number of fans made it hard for us to get to our van. EXO surrounded Chen so that he won't get hurt again. We were pushed and pulled by the fans as if we were in a tug of war.

"Suho oppa" a little girl in the crowd stood out in the front. She seemed calm and not as aggressive as the other fans but anyone can tell shes a fan by the Suho shirt she was wearing. Her brown and bright eyes caught my eye and she gave a small and sweet smile towards me before turning towards Suho. The little girl beamed at him while handing him a black box, supposedly a sunglasses box.

"I hope you'll like it Suho oppa! Please remember me!" The little girl flashed a large smile before disappearing into the crowds. Suho looked down at the sunglasses and smiled.

"She is a really cute girl isn't she!" Suho shouted to me over the crowd and flashing me his ever-so-popular million dollar smile. I gave a nod and smiled in agreement.

We finally got into the van. Everyone sighed in relief. At the corner of my eye i saw someone beside the pillars. All black. Black jacket, black pants, black shirt, black sunglasses. *I've seen that before* I rubbed my eyes to get a clearer view before squinting at the same spot again. The black figure is gone.
Vibrations were felt in my pocket as i reached for my phone once again.

Unknown appeared on my called id

"Annyeong-"

"AHHHH" I turned towards the scream to see Suho opening his mouth wide and mist coming out from his eyes. The sunglasses were thrown out to the front, revealing a pair of small squirting machines that was activated by the opening of the sunglasses.

*Guess we're not leaving this hospital* I thought before shifting Suho in front to the stretcher that was already laid out infront of the door. Leaving the van i ran towards the hospital with the stretcher.

The little girl's POV:
I walked towards the store room of the hospital. Avoiding people as i hastened myself. It's time to get my pay for this wonderful job that i have done.

A black figure stood in the middle of the store room. Lights flickered as i took a step towards the figure. I held on to the rim of my EXO shirt and stood rooted behind the figure. Betraying my idol was never something i would do, but i did it.

I took a deep breath and begin walking closer to the black figure. The person crossed arms and stood there as though it was awaiting for my arrival.

"It has been done." i said before bowing towards the back of the figure even though i didn't know if this person was my boss.

"Good" an edited voice spoke to me. A stood up and looked to the front of the figure. A wooden chair stood in the middle of the room.

"Come, sit down." i swallowed my saliva and moved slowly towards the chair not wanting to make a wrong move.

"Do i get my pay now?" i asked, sitting down.

"Sure." the figure threw a few pieces of $100 bills towards me. My eyes widened at the generosity of my boss and smiled widely at the money.

The figure stuck a phone towards its ear and back-faced me. Turning slightly towards me.

"But you've known too much." it mumbled.

From its pocket, the black figure took out a syringe filled with yellow liquid. My eyes widened and i realised i was short of breath.

"Hickery dickery dock."

I slowly moved back making a creaking sound with chair.

"The mouse went up the clock"

The figure squirted the yellow liquid a little and drops of it dripped onto the ground. I could feel it smiling as it came closer to me.

"The clock strikes 8, the mouse went down"

I fell back. The chair flipped. I hit the floor.

"Hickery Dickery Dock"

The needle went into my skin. I could feel the liquid flowing into my bloodstream as it slowly empties in the syringe. My body goes numb, and i lay flat on the ground. The black figure picked up the $100 notes now scattered across the floor.

"Sleep tight, dont let the bed bugs bite."

Ok some of you might be wondering why i deleted this chapt. Well i thought it wasn't thrilling enough so i deleted it and decided to do some changes to it :)

ANYWAYS I AM BACK WOOHOO (author-nim doing the crazy dance again) i am rly sorry for not being able to keep my promises about writing more often this yr.... *cries* I WAS REALLY BUSY! But since its the holidays now i will try to update more yea :D
