"I'm sorry, Ranboo..."

Niki said, as she lowered her head.

I stood there, shocked as if I couldn't move a muscle.

I snapped back into reality and sighed.

"I couldn't have expected that my Mother would be safe, I hoped that she was but... seems like she couldn't..."

//Niki's POV//

I felt bad for Ranboo, I could tell he was broken by the fact his Mother had gotten caught, I pulled him and hugged him.

"It's gonna be okay, Ranboo..."

"I know how you feel, I also lost my Parents, my Mother lives in Germany so she's safe, but my Father got caught like your mother..."

//Ranboo's POV//

As niki pulled me in and hugged me, i started tearing up and hugged her back, sniffling.

While Niki was comforting me, she told me how she lost her father.

I was shocked about that and let go of her.

I sniffled and wiped away my tears with my sleeve.

"We should look around here, maybe we can find something... useful?"

Niki nodded and so we both looked around the store.

—34 min's later—

I panted because i stupidly tried climbing something.

"You're really stupid, Ranboo" Niki said

I blew a raspberry at her.

"Oh! Hmph."

I giggled and started to hear rustling.

I stood infront of her, taking out my baseball bat.

"Who's there?!"

The rustling became louder, and i held the bat more tighter, getting ready.

I saw two ears pop up, tall and orange with fluff.

The thing came out.

"..."

"Who are you...?"
