Falling for Chris Evans

Tom could tell my mood had changed, fast. I almost wasn't happy at all about the news we just got. 

"What's wrong y/n" Tom said stopping himself from celebrating our big news. 

"Didn't you say you saw Chris and Lizzie leaving here before us-" I said praying that it wasn't actually them. Tom's facial expression screamed 'oh shit'. 

"Do you think they-" Tom said as I started to nod because I knew what he was talking about. 

"I don't know I'm gonna call Chris when I get home and ask" I said staring off into space. 

"Okay, well you get home and call. Call me when you're done." Tom said rubbing my arm scooting me towards my car. 

I get into my car and drive home. I trust Chris and I know that if it is true and him and Lizzie have to do this whole thing, I know that it is not real it will almost be as though they are acting, I hope.   

Once I get home I immediately call Chris. I miss him and this would be a major rock into our relationship. But I know Tom and I have to do the same. 

"Hey y/n, I was just about to call you and tell you about my interview last night." Chris said as soon as I answered the phone. He calmed my mood so much but I still needed to know. 

"I can't wait to hear about it" I said back, I mean I wasn't lying. I did want to hear about it but that's not what I wanted to hear right now. 

"Good, because we are having a movie night tonight and I'm coming to get you right now sunshine" Chris said happy as ever. He instantly made my mood 100% better. He knew exactly how to do that. 

"Yay I can't wait Chris" I said into the phone. 

I quickly slipped into some comfy clothes and waited for Chris to get here. 

Once I heard the knock on my door I knew it was him. I grabbed my phone and greeted Chris at the door. 

"Hi Chris" I said kissing him on the cheek as he picked me up and hugged me tightly. 

"Let's go beautiful. I got snacks on the way here, and of course popcorn." Chris said holding my had as we walked down my apartment hallway. 

Once we got to Chris's car he opened the door for me and shut it of course. What a gentlemen he is. 

"Chris-" I said trying to bring up the subject that was turning my stomach into a knot.

"Let's just talk about it later" Chris said, which made m know that he knew exactly what I was talking about.

"Can we please just talk about it now, so I don't keep thinking about it" I replied back starting ti get upset. 

"Well, I'm assuming you got the same contract" Chris said placing a hand on my thigh. 

"Yea.. Tom and I just got back from the brothers office" I said back to him grabbing his hand. 

"Have you ever done this before, like with your other projects?" He asked me. 

"No, it was all foreign language to me. Have you?" I asked looking at him. 

"Yea, a few times." He responded back. I put my head down, not because I was mad at him but because I'm a jealous girlfriend that will be seeing her boyfriend making out with another girl in the news all day. Granted he will be seeing the same with Tom and I.

"Hey, look at me." Chris said as we pulled into his driveway, he hand softly grabbed my chin and moved my head to face him.

"I'm not going anywhere and neither are you. This is only a bump, it's not going to make me not like you. You are sweet , you are amazing, talented, smart, funny and everything in between." Chris said pulling me into a very warm hug.
