We went to a Cafe and had something warm to eat, because the evening was getting dark. We gossiped, had plenty of love-hate girly arguments and my friends drove back home. I didn’t drive today - couldn’t
be bothered. Anyways, no worries, I’m going to meet my soon-to-be-husband at Finsbury Park once more before our actual wedding. I was wearing a simple black pumps with a cute bow tied in the front, and a long white garment, with long black silky maxi dress. My hands were covered in golden and diamond jewelleries - and of course my married finger the engagement ring he gave to me - when he proposed to me after Jummah and asked me to be his wife because on this day,Man was created, alone, but he wants someone by his side, a Eve like me.

I was at Finsbury Park, the gate was massively huge and cole black. I went inside, and i can only see a few couples calling their kids to go home, and with some lonely Individuals either riding their bicycle or walking their dog. Someone else familiar came from the dark, it was Dana, my maid. Quickly run the other way before she sees me - alone. I hate being caught alone! i hide behind the tree and watched her until she went. Suddenly I felt a heavy breeze against me, and I realise it was the wind blowing so hard against me. The icy cold breeze against my thick white wooly garment. But now being barked after by this dog , I suddenly jumped. Turning around to a bunch of laughter from these men - they seem to all look alike sharing dark features ; black silky hair, long stumpy nose, pale pink lips and coloured brown and green eyes, It was three of them, one stood out in the middle - a bit taller he is from the rest of them, more leaner, and he had a scar across his face. His clothes looked all baggy and i believe he lacks in shopping at this moment. His pants slightly torned. “Are you okay Madam? I didn’t mean to scare you.” My face was straight until he finished the sentence and I faked a smile, so posh as always I am. “It’s fine.

”The big brown dog barked again at me and decided to lick my fingers, nibbling at my marriage finger - the precious ring is being licked by a freaking nasty dog!Ew. My face was in all disgust. “Poochy, stop, stop stop right now.” He grabbed the collar of his dog and pulled him closer to him. “You don’t like dogs?” He looked disgusted with me. “No, I only like cats.” I said boldly also surprised his dog as my cat’s name. He flinched perhaps because i sounded rude. “Right, see you later posh lady.” He said with a dirty wink. I felt disgusted. Sorry, my heart is for my husband and i love him dearly. I decided to call my husband and before I did, I saw him standing across me looking at me - his face was straight, but the light that hits on him, made him appear to be an angel out of nowhere. He was running towards me now.

“Are you okay babe? What happened?” He asked with all concern. His perfume, his smell captivated me that I couldn’t think. I looked in his eyes, fluttering my eyes slowly in adumbration of his presence. His warm and soft hands surrounded my semi-cold body taking me more in his arms.“Good to see you again” He said. “Let’s have a seat, get away from this tree.” I suddenly have an Idea. “No, let’s stay here.”

“Why?”

I pulled at his tie, dragged him along and giving him the impression i wanted to kiss him…maybe all night long. He dropped down with me obediently, and he leaned in, but then again paused where our lips was just a few seconds away from each other. “I want to save our first kiss at our wedding.” That’s right, we never ever kissed since the day he told me he wants to be a better muslim. “I even Just did my magrib before you came.”My heart sunk at his dedication and commitment - the kind of man I would be happy to marry. I nodded my head in understanding and smiled. “So, how was your day? I missed you.”

He dressed back, positioning himself better sitting and leaning his back against the tree "I got fired from my Job today as the CEO’s Adviser and Director. What to do now babe?” He gulped his spit in his throat. His black dark silky hair wavered against his forehead. I felt so sorry for him because he worked so hard in that Job, always dedicating his time and effort into a Company that could hardly give a damn about him at times - that he has a life. I really didn’t know what to say.“Just lean in my arms.” He quickly slid in my lap comfortably until he fell asleep. We hardly got time to talk. This was suppose to be a catch-up session. I watched how adorable he looks even though he’s got fired and how surprised he would be that I bought an expensive golden wedding dress.

I remembered how when we me there, he was in year 11 from Central Foundation Boy’s school, and me from Central Foundation Girl’s. We were both in our uniforms, with our own friends. I was doing some observational drawing for GCSE Coursework - capturing the elegance of the trees dancing together - it represents strength and growth.

This was a beautiful concept, a concept I can definitely described in my sketchbook. Then before continuing my sketch, he got in the way. Oh dear God, move out of my way! I wanted to say, but he remained there on his phone texting to his girlfriend i thought - he was cute as hell so i guessed. He looked over to me, and the sunlight hit his eyes making it appear golden, more brighter than it appeared this night. He was more youthful, no beard, only a small must ache on his upper lip, his hair was a bit longer and wavier. His face slimmer, his body more slender. He was wearing a sharpe uniform.I waited for him to get out..but he just didn’t. It’s like Allah put him there to say something..strenght and growth then him. I pulled out a cigarette from my backpack, and my friend, Trisha helped to lite it. He then talk to his friend for a little while then both looked at me, looking at them, OMG hide! I hid behind the tree, the one me and my fiancé is sitting here now.

My heart raced leaving my sketchbook on the grass. My cigarette still in my hands. I puffed a big puff and started coughing, coughing so much. My friend didn’t even notice because she was busy talking and yelling at her ex-boyfriend on the phone. Then came to my rescue - Tariq. He rushed over to me and asked if I was okay. I felt honoured by that for some reason. When i looked up, he was over me - so tall this guy is. His voice was calm, but crankily - in transition from a boy to a man. I looked in his eyes, then coughed again involuntarily and slightly embarrassed.

“You okay babe?” He called me babe at this time? I took his hands off me. “You hardly know me.” I pulled my hair back. “If it wasn’t for you being in the way, I wouldn’t be liting a cigarette.” He heard me then waited then laughed. “You fucking kidding me - with all these other trees you could draw.” My eyebrows knit together in anger. “Those trees were what I was drawing first you dumb-“ Before I could say it, he fled. I now felt embarrassed to what I just said. Oh wait, he didn’t fled..he was now looking at my sketchbook. “You are such a good drawer, wow.” I was trying to surpress a smile due to such compliment. I love getting compliments. “Damn, You will make a good Artist. But listen, can I advise you on something?” I nodded. “Okay, next time when you are drawing something, make sure to outline everything else out first before going into details.

"Thenceforth, you can get to continue on drawing when people get in the way and it would be exactly precise.”His eyebrows wavered upwards and eyes shinning with enthusiasm. I smiled then quickly put on a straight face. “You’re the one to talk.” “Don’t you think I will be a good Adviser babe?”

“Huh? I don’t know - maybe someone who gets in people’s way and change their perspective - manipulative is the right word. And would you quit calling me babe, i find it so freaking inappropriate when you hardly know me.” I said boldly. His face reflects surprise. “You are so feisty.” He looks me up and down. “Very pretty too. You have the looks, the attitude, and the talent -perfect for me. Let me have have your number.” How fucking charming of him. “As If I’m that easy. i’m not one of those girl’s who will fall for any guy so easily.”

My hands folded still with the cigar in my hands burning out. I blew at it. He frowned a bit then quickly his face brightens up. “That’s why out of all these girls who’ve fallen for me, before, now and later in the future, …I choose you.” This is almost surreal - he gave me what a girl always wanted to hear. But of
course it is one of those lame tricks. I laughed. “The only reason I would exchange numbers is as if you re-do my whole entire project if it get’s messed up.”

He laughed and with a sharpe hand gestured to shake ,“Deal."
