The Police so far after a few days haven’t got any records of Jason Malik being involved in suspicious acts, except that one day he was walking his dog along side my house. But he is technically my neighbour after all. Ugh. Shall i visit him? He hasn’t called since, nor picked up his phone. “Sure, go head and knock off his door. That guy is such a bloody idiot confusing you, and all of us.” Her mother said
with anger evident in her voice. My friends agreed.

I decided that evening to go and visit my ‘neighbour’ and i knocked on his door. He opened it immediately - well his maid. She Introduced me to ‘Jason’ whom she called Mr. Malik. She gave a mischievously smile at him before leaving. What is going on? Is this Malik guy using his maid as his mistress. Pityful guys! my fiancé would - oh God..it all adds up. Perhaps, I’m too much of a materialistic girl that he wished to throw away for someone more humble like Dana.

I noticed ‘Mr.Malik” has the same personality, except Tariq was becoming more religious. My heart sunk at that thought.. “You look distressed. Are you ok?” He said with a bright face. His personality
is almost as identical as my Fiance. Again, i thought my Fiance a thief? A cheater? A Kidnapper? Leaving me nothing except worries - the one who claims to be more closer with Allah? Is this a hidden lesson from him to me or something? Is this all just a joke set up? I sort of wish it was. Okay, a glass of water was brought to me, but of course why trust a stranger who seems mischievous as this guy? I immediately went on to interrogate him more.

“You haven’t been calling me. What is this? Are you playing around with me? Has Tariq hired you to do all this crazy charming FBI Agent stuff? Because if so, it’s not funny. What is your relationship with Tariq?”

He began to laugh. “No wonder why Tariq kept you, you are fun to play with.” A mischievous smile cross his face, and his green eyes looks devious. “Ha ha ha..” I said looking back at my golden watch.”My time says it’s time to be serious. Listen if you don’t help me find my husband..i mean Fiance or a thieving Fiance before my wedding date, then I’ll makesure to get you locked up on suspicions on theft. And you wouldn’t dare laugh again in your lifetime.” He took a cigarette and lit it. “You remember this?” I nodded. “Yeah, I used to smoke. So what? I’m a bad girl because of my past?”

“You are still a bad girl. Tariq had always told me so!” He said straightforwardly.

“Oh, let me introduce myself properly this time. I’m Jason Malik, a friend of Tariq. You were supposed to be my girlfriend, not his. So, because of his decisiveness, I decided to lie to him.”

“About what?” I asked simply still adjusting to what he just said a while ago. “His Job. I got him fired. That was suppose to be my role - now, I’m working as the Advisor & Director for CEO.” I flinched. “ Why would you do such a horrible thing?” He wavered his cigarette without even smoking it at all.

“And be careful of tempting me with that thing again please.” I said lowering my gaze at it. He nodded with a smile, and then placed it in his mouth. “I haven’t smoked for a while because of my health and religion, but sometimes when you are too stressed, this can be a solution.”

“I’m sure Tariq would disagree. He quit smoking and i was moved by his iman. That’s why I’m more in love with him now.”

“But he’s a thief still. He realised I got that position, and he was envious. He then took it out on you”

“You are so wrong for doing that silly thing! My Fiance has now been suffering to pay off his debts, etc and now embarrassed to find a Job. It will be hard for him to even keep up with me - “ He interrupted.

“That’s why he’s no longer your Fiance but Dana’s.” My mouth widen open. “How do you even know for sure? They never had such relationship.” I was so angry with him right now.“I loved you from the first day I met you - your beautiful black wooly hair in adorable artistic twist, your brown complexion, your bold eyes, and cute lips, the way you sat there drawing your skills out on that sketchbook.” My mind went back to that memory. “All I can remember is Tariq standing there right in my way of drawing those trees. No one else.” I said sharply and irritated by his flirtatiousness.
