Daryl's P.O.V.
Wait. Thats all i could do. I didnt know if my brother is dead or alive. My mate was unconscious. I felt like a nervous wreck. I wanted them both to survive.
The door openes and Kyler appers at it. He gave me a sadden look and closed the door behind him then shifted. He laid on the empty space beside Alikay and laid his head on her stomach.
I wanted so bad for Justin to tease me again about how i went from this bad ass who wouldn't take shit from any one to a redneck who was wrapped arround a girls finger. I wanted so bad for Alikay to run her fingers threw my fur and hold me in her arms. I wish i could traid places with them. I wish it was me who was unconscious not them. They both ment so much to me, i cant lose either one now.
I hadent noticed how tired my body was until i had let out a yawn. No i say pushing my body to stay awake i have to be up for them
Kyler had noticed my struggle to stay awake because he had started to talk to me threw a mind link. Sleep he said.
I have to be awake for them i respond giving him a quick glance.
They wont be awak till tomorrow night he says.
Im scared that if i sleeep they will both die i admit to him.
The Daryl scared he says and a playful tone was shone in his voice.
That is not to be shared to anyone i say.
Only if you sleep he responds, if you don't ill tell
Fine i say then let my body falk into a nightmare filled sleep.
××next morning××
I wake up and look go see both my brother and mate still asleep. Their positions never changed snd i let out a small wimper. I long for my mate's touch and i long for my brothers smile again. I want them back.
"Daryl?" I hear a soft voice come from thd door. I turned to see Luna there.
I let out a little depressed howl annd lay my head back down. I stair at the picture of us three i had taped on the headboard some time last night. I couldnt get how happy we all were just yesterday. We were having fun with Harley and Merel and now they lay in bed unconscious and Justin dead for all we know.
"Daryl you have visitors." Luna says.
I look back and in came Harley, Merel, and four others. My wolf reacted to the unknown wolves and quickly stood on our paws. He growled at them wanting to protect his family.
Harley quickly ran in front of me hiding the unknow people from my vision. "Daryl they are Alikay's friends." She says.
I turn to look at Alikay to see if it was true but when i did i saw her unconscious body. I wimper and crawl back to where i laid.
"Has he been this way the whole time?" I hear Merel ask.
"Yes," Luna says letting out a sigh, "ill leave you be."
The door shut but i still felt the presence of people. I juml as someone runs their hands threw my fur. It felt so much like how Alikay would do. I look back hoping to see Alikay had waken but instead i see Harley. Dont get me wrong Harley is a good friend i just miss Alikay's touch.
I move my head from under Alikay's and Justin's linked hands and hopped off the bed. I walk into the bathroom and shut the door with my snout. I shifted human and put on so boxers and sweats. I walk out to see Harley about to unlock their hands.
"No!" I yell running up to the bed and locking their hands back together.
"Their hands were getting hot and i figured that they needed air." She explained with a sorrow feeled expression.
I nod in understanding and reach over to the little rag that laid in cold water. I ring out the water and place the rag in their palms. I sat between them and pulled my knees to my chest.
"Daryl this is Beth, Chandler, Maggie, and Glenn." Harley says pointing to the four people who i had previously growled at.
"Hi." I say giving them a quick glance then look down at mh feet.
Suddenly the sentence the man said to Justin came to mind.
What's the fun of the chase if i let you get me now?
"Chase, chase, chase," i mumble, "what does he mean?"
"Whats wrong Daryl?" Merel aks sitting beside me and rubbing my bare back.
"Chase." i mumble over and over again.
"Daryl what do you mean by chase?" Chandler ask.
"The guy that had brok into Alikay's dream said it was a chase," i say, "hd said ' What's the fun of the chase if i let you get me now' before disappearing from her dream. He said he knew who Justin and I w-"
Chase Kindle
Quickly i got off the bed and ran to her desk i grab a pen and paper and write the name down. Everyone followed me and looked at the name.
"Chase Kindle was killed because of rapeing a w-" Harley says but changed her sentence, "she was the wolf that was raped from fifteen wolves wasnt she?"
"That is not to leave this house." I say.
I grab the paper and walk downstairs with the six behind me. I walk around until i come to Alpha's office door. I knock.
"Come in." He says.
I enter and the six followed inside. "I think i know who was in Alikay's dream Alpha." I say.
