I walked along the halls in school. My hands held onto the strap of my bag and my mind was clouded by my wolf. No, I'm not like the werewolves you read in books or see in movies. The moon doesn't change me, I can control when I shift, the moon just gives us wolves more energy.
My mind was being swarmed because of my family. They're wishing me luck as I start my first year of school in a world of humans. Mom says that it would be good to get my wolf used to humans since we protect them from danger.

Sis they're not as bad as they seem. All you have to do is keep you wolf at bay and you'll be fine he says.
It's not my wolf I'm worried about I say watching as kids are being violently shoved around in the hallways.
Look all you have to do is go to the office and get your classes. Mom had called in and got you all the classes your good at, and when it's over I'll come get you and we'll go on a run. How does that sound?
The run part good, the school part not so much.
Shut everyone out until school is over, and I promise I'll be there to get you at three.
I do as he says and block everyone out. I go up to a girl with strawberry blonde hair and when she turns around I noticed her pretty blue eyes with a hint of brown and green in them. My wolf was awaken by the smell of another. She growled at the girl infront of me, but I did my best to keep my wolf at bay.
"Y..Your..a..a" i stutter out.
She slammed her hand over my mouth. "Shh," she says, "I don't want the humans to know!"
I take her hand off my mouth. "I...I won't tell... I promise. " I stutter out and look down at my purple converse.
"You a sub ain't you?" She asked.
I slowly nod my head. See there are things with us wolves. We have two types of wolves. A submissive and a dominant. A submissive, (me) are shy, don't fit in well, and will do anything to keep our mates happy. A dominant, (my two brothers) are the total opposite, they are bold and proudly show that they rule. They can be different when they have their mates. They can either soften a little or they can keep being the same wolf.
By the looks and body language she is a dominant wolf. It's rare that girls are a dominant so she must have a rare wolf somewhere in her. "Harley." She says.
"Alikay." I say still staring at the floor.
"Stop staring at the floor." She says. My head instantly snaps up.
Another thing about submissive and dominant wolves, even if you are not mates, a submissive will do anything a dominant wolf will tell them to do.
"S...sorry." I mutter.
"Come on I'll take you to get your schedule." She says. She then confidently walks away knowing I'll follow her.
I quietly walk behind her. We came to a door labeled office. Harley swiftly opens it and we both walked inside.
"Hello Harley," a woman that sat behind a desk says, "what can I do for you?"
"Where is principle George?" Harley asks.
"In his office," she smiles. "Just head on back."
Harley nodded and started to walk. When she noticed I wasn't following she mumbled a small "Follow me."
Instantly my legs moved to follow her. We walked into a room where a middle aged man sat in a rolling chair. "What can I do for you Harley?" The man asked.
"Mr. George I got the new student she's here to. . ." She lowers her voice and says ". . .pick up her schedule."
The man stood up and shut the door behind us. "You must be the new wolf." He says.
I froze. He knows. How?
"Alikay?" I hear.
I look up to see Harley and Mr. George looking at me with confused faces. "S..sorry," I stutter out while rubbing the side of my arm. "H...how did y...you k...know?"
"You think wolves' parents would send their kids here without an adult wolf here?" He ask sitting in his chair.
"I couldn't s..smell you." I say.
" It's the humans," he explains. "They'll mask your sent from all the other wolves as long as they are around." I nod and he hands me two slips of paper and one to Harley. "Here are your classes and your excuses for class," he says, "and Alikay if you have any trouble at all I'm here to talk to."
I nod and we both walk out closing the door behind us. Maybe this year won't be so bad.
