Chapter 03: Jalapeño

I sat in the Maths classroom quietly, waiting for the teacher to come in. I grabbed my black and neon green earphones out of my bag and plugged it into my phone and started playing Monster Cat Safe & Sound.
I like to listen to Monster Cat because they have good Dubsteps and all sorts. I hummed the music as I read City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, It was a truly good book.
The Mortal Instruments Chronicles were one of my personal favourites. I giggled lightly at how Jace was being sarcastic to Alec.
BANG!
I looked up shocked and dumbfounded and saw a guy with dirty blonde hair knocked over the pile of dictionary's. He wore black skinny jeans, a white dyed shirt and a leather jacket.
He turned around and swore so colourfully he could paint the whole school and for a few minutes all I could make out of him was a leather jacket and his dirty blonde hair.
I felt like I knew him, Jace Wayland! The guy from The Mortal Instruments, except this guy has dirty blonde instead of honey blonde.
He whirled around like nothing happened and they he laid his eyes on me. "You saw nothing!" He said like he was a warlock or Thalia from Percy Jackson.
I couldn't help but chuckle silently. Blondie glared at me and sat at the opposite end of the room, ten table's away from me.
Then I heard a high pitch sound in my ear and I grabbed the earphones out of my ear. "Oh its broken." I said solemnly as I stared at it on the table.
3...2...1...
Realisation hit me, "Oh shit!" I said a little too loud and Blondie looked over and started walking to me. I saved for months for this earphone and now its broken.
"Damn." I heard a voice behind me. "Its broken." Blondie said monotoned. "Oh its completely fixed Mr. Obvious." I said sarcastically. "Sarcasm doesn't work with you, so stop being sarcastic." he said with a hint of mockery. My cheeks started to heat up.
Damn this guy's good
He studied my face, which was not good. Cause I'd probably look like a tomato. Scratch that, I probably look like I ate a jalapeño!
