Chapter 04: My treat!

She seemed cute when she blushes. Scratch that, she was adorable. I glanced down to her earphones.

I stared at her earphones with pity. The fact that she said she save it for months out loud, rang a bell.

She isn't like me that lives in a mansion of a house and doesn't have the money to get a new one.

I stared at her sulking, for once I admired the beauty of this certain brunette. Her brown eyes and hair went strikingly together and her pale white skin seemed mesmerising.

She's a work of art is my only comment. I walked back to my seat and decided I will get her a new one after school.

The class started filling up with teenagers and it started to get very chatty. My best friends Alex and Riley sat in front of me and Jake sat next to me.

I didn't seem to pay attention in class today, I seemed interested in getting the brunette a new earphone. I turned a 180 degrees to stare at her beautiful features.

While staring one of the girls who lost it a decade ago thought I was looking at her and she winked at me. I turned disgusted, she was Carly.

She always wore revealing clothes and thought she was pretty. Sure guys will like her because her virgin side is gone. It makes me wanna vomit.

Class ended at 5pm sharp and I jogged towards the mall. I looked in every shop and was about to give up when I saw it. A black earphone rimmed with neon green.

I walked over and bought it with a 5 year warranty. It costed about 500 euros I also got a 100 euro black MP3 which matched the design as the set for her. For the brunette it was worth it.

I decided to call it a day and jogged back home. I saw her walking down the pavement and I jogged to catch up.

"Hey." I said casually as I switched to casual walking mode.
"Hi." She said back softly, "I got you these." I said loud enough for her to hear.

I was embarrassed because I never showed kindness to anyone but her. She seemed shocked then she shook her head.

"I can't accept it, I can't pay you back." she said softly once again. "My treat!" After saying that I sprinted down the road so she couldn't catch up to me.

For once I never looked back.
