I briefly read through the materials again as I massaged my temple. Frankly speaking, I don't know how I'm gonna get close Ethan. I strapped a small knife to my thigh and let my skirt fall, hiding it. I pulled my blonde hair into a high ponytail and stared at the mirror. Well I looked decent enough to make a good first impression. I'm still gonna use my name Lucy in this mission as since it would be a long term investigation, I might use my real name so I would recognize it easily when people calls.

I skipped down the stairs and found Eliza buried in a thick book. 'Time to go bookworm. Honestly, at this rate you are going to be recognized as the nerd of the school.' She frowned, her eyes never leaving her book. I took the car keys and gave her one last call. I unlocked my black Lamborghini. I named my car Jacky and it's my precious baby. I bought it with money earned from missions. Agents are loaded. Eliza settled in hurriedly as I sped off, my stomach churning nervously in preparation for the rest of the day.

'Hi, we are the new students. Lucy Wills amd Elizabeth Hales (A/N: Only their surnames changed for this whole spy thing) . Eliza said as she smiled sweetly at the receptionist. I stood there waiting while my eyes roamed the room. We have memorized the blueprints and knew the school at the back of our hands. The receptionist beamed back, clearly dazzled by her smile and handed us our schedules and said 'You have about half an hour until the first period starts.' I took the schedule from her and smiled warmly before bidding her goodbye.

Eliza and I locked gazes before heading onto our seperate ways. Eliza have hacked in to the school's system before we came and changed our schedules such that most periods coincides with our respective targets. I made my way swiftly through the halls and heard harsh whispers as several students stared at me. How do people survive in schools. Do they all stare at newcomers. I ignored them as my eyes scanned around with only Ethan in my mind. Glancing at my watch, I have only 20 minutes left and decided to make my way to my locker instead.

'God damn it. Why wouldn't it open?!' I heard someone slam the locker and snapped my head around. Ethan. A small smile tugged my lips as I headed towards him.

'Locker's stuck? I'm handy with locks, I can give it a try.' I said innocently while Ethan eyes me up and down suspiciously. I sighed and got to work to prove it to him. The locker's lock was a common one so it should be easy. I fiddled around and in about 15 seconds, I heard the familiar click. I removed the lock and smiled proudly at him while he stood there stunned. 'How did you do that?' He asked incredulously, raising an eyebrow. I just gave him a small smile, 'Trade secret' I winked just as the bell went off. Shit I muttered, preparing to sprint when Ethan held me back. 'Cool. I'm Ethan by the way. I'll see you at lunch? Eat with me?' he asked with a grin. I gave a small nod as my legs took off. With a smile, I tried to think of an excuse to get out of detention.

'Sorry I'm late!' I muttered apologetically to my English teacher as I saw Ethan already settled down. He grinned at me when we locked gazes and my heart fluttered at his face. Focus. 'You're the new student? Give a simple introduction. I'm Mrs Roselle.' I gave a nod and small bow as I turned to the class. 'Hi, I'm Lucy Wills and I just arrived here in Los Angeles.' Some girls smiled sweetly at me while some girls glared at me, clearly angered at the attention I was receiving as some guys stared at me. 'Alright settle down and you may chose any seat you like.' I gave a uncommitted nod when Ethan beckoned me to sit with him. He had another friend with him who introduced himeself as Terrence. I had run a check on him previously and his background seemed clean.

'So Lucy, why did you move to California?' Terrence asked curiously, breaking the silence. 'My father decided to send me and my best friend here while he expanded out family business.' I lied smoothly as I rehearsed many times for this moment. A sad expression crossed Ethan's eyes as I mentioned my father. He brushed it off and continued, 'So I'll see you in lunch? If you remember my offer.' He asked nervously, with hopeful eyes. I gave him a playful smile and said 'I agreed to that already if you remembered.' As Terrence stared at us back and forth thorugh our small conversation, I turned my back against him and concentrated on the teacher for the rest of the lesson.

My next two periods, Calculus and Physics were not with Ethan so the next time I saw him was in lunch. I pushed the cafeteria doors and panted a little as I had ran two blocks to reach. 'Over here! Lucy!' I scanned the room searching for the source until my eyes landed on Ethan and made my way towards him. The guys in his table introduced themselves and I remembered all of them from the research Boss had given. Ethan was about to say something but he was distracted by someone behind. Curious, I turned around and saw Eliza and Jacob making their way towards us. Jacob whispered something into Eliza's ears as a small blush crept to her cheeks. A sly smirk appeared on my face. Oh I have so many questions for Eliza later on.

I made my way to my locker after seeing Luce take off. Well, instead of looking for Jacob, I have to put all these books down. I looked at the schedule and calmly made my way when I came into contact with a rock solid wall and all my books fell.
Great. Just great.
'Sorry bout that.' the wall spo-wait what. I looked up from my curls and came face to face with Jacob. Just my luck. He looked even greater in real life. His blue eyes are mesmerizing, like it held another universe within it. His black hair was out of place and- Concentrate! 'Oh uhm, it's fine.' I muttered after snapping out of my trance. 'Are you new here? I have never seen you before.' He asked while helping me with my books. 'Yeah, just moved last week.' I replied slowly. Jacob was about to give a reply when the bell rang. Hastily, I took all my books from him and took off.

It is my Mathematics class and I can feel Jacob's gaze burning holes at the back of my head. I tried to concentrate though but it was really boring. I have gone through these subjects years back and I'm pretty sure I can ace the questions. The next period is lunch and I'm looking foward to seeing Luce. When the bell rang, I was about to head off when Jacob held me back. I raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised by his actions. 'Oh uhm, just wanted to know if you wanna have lunch together?' He asked while scratching the back of his head. A small smile curled up as I gave a shy nod. Guess I don't need to waste any effort getting near him. We chatted along the way to the cafeteria. The moment we enter th cafeteria, I saw Luce together with Ethan. I carefully observed them. They would make a cute couple. I smiled knowingly. 'So, you can take a seat first. I will get food for the pretty lady.' Jacob whispered as the cafeteria grew louder. My cheeks heat up with his compliment and I made my way to Luce with a grin.
