jhené woke up with ja'kyla next to her.
she smiled at her baby , then picked her up & put her in the crib she had at her grandparents house.
after that she got up & did her hygiene routine , then got her & kyla's things so she could head back to their house.
she walked out the room seeing jeremiah's parents on the couch.
"good morning my loves" his mom said while grabbing kyla from jhené's arms.
"good morning sweetheart" his dad said.
"goodmoring ma & pops" jhené said.
"i'm going to put our things in the car & me & baby girl are headed home"
"lemme see your keys , i gotchu" his dad said.
he started taking their things into the car.
"ouu i have something for babygirl" his mom said while walking into her room.
jhené followed behind her.
she opened this jewelry box & inside was a small necklace , the size for a baby & it had a locket on it.
"this was originally jeremiah's & it had a picture of his grandma who passed , but we got it cleaned & put a picture of you & him when you two were seniors" she said smiling while showing jhené.
jhené was so touched , it was beautiful , to be honest they both looked the same since high school , black just don't crack.
jhené put it around ja'kyla's neck , it looked so pretty , just like her.
"thank you ma , this is so beautiful" jhené said with a big smiling.
"ofc babygirl it's the least we can do" his mom said smiling back.
"alright everything is in & ready to go" his dad said walking back into the house.
"thank you pops" she said before hugging him.
"alright , we'll see y'all later , love you guys" jhené said while grabbing kyla back from her grandma.
"bye sweetheart" his parents said as she got into her car.

they arrived home & jhené got everything out the car.
her & kyla were eating breakfast.
she was watching kyla eat when her phone started ringing.
she walked out of the kitchen & into the living room , it was dave calling.
she sighed.
"let's hear wtf he has to say" she said to herself.
"hi david" she said.
"hey nené , can we talk ?" he ask.
"about what , we have nothing to talk about" she said nonchalant.
".. come on bruh , don't do that" he said sadly.
"dave , we're not together & you let it be known last night , you're grown & can do whatever you want" i said while peeking in the kitchen making sure kyla was straight.
"that's the problem nené , i wanna be with you , we been getting so close these past months , i need you jhené" he said so serious.
