Hoseok looked at himself in the mirror, as he had his clothes on to go in the snow. Hoseok went downstairs quickly of their tiny apartment, opening the door and smiling. his eyes sparkled at the snowfall, butterflies filling his stomach. hoseok breathed in and finally took a step outside, shivering slightly but soon getting used to the feeling. he walked slowly to where all the kids were at, hoping there was someone who would entertain him. he slowly approached the laughing children and greeted them. "hi! im hoseok" he smiled, looking around. a small girl with a beautiful smile waved at him, along with the girl next to her. "hi hoseok, im chuu and that boy over there is yoongi" he turned his glance towards the boy, yoongi looked up and immediately blushed at his petite frame. "hi!" Hoseok said, giggling. chuu sighed as yves continued to tug at her skirt. "okay okay yves! lets go, bye bye friend" she giggled as her and the small girl walked away playing in the snow. hoseok decided to walk up to yoongi, just to say hi and stuff. "hey, do you wanna play with me in the snow?" he asked moving around a bit, playing with his sweater paws. yoongi blushed and hesitated to speak up, "u-uhm, sure!" he blushed as hoseok smiled. "okay! lets build a snowman together" he said in a cute, soft voice as yoongi agreed.

time skip- a few hours later, dinner time

Hoseok panted, laughing with yoongi as they had just finished rolling down the hill again. "whats your name again?" Yoongi asked, sitting up and making eye contact with him. "hoseok." He replied, looking up at the snow. "can i call you seok? or hobi?" he asked, hoseok loving the nicknames and nodding. "call me anything!" he giggled, standing up and reaching down for yoongis hand. as soon as he stood up hoseok felt his cheeks turn a soft pink. this feeling was a bit weird for hoseok, but he just liked to assume it was because he was 10 at the time. "i have to go eat dinner! goodbye, yoon" hoseok mumbled before walking back to his house, leaving yoongi speechless at the amount of time he just spent with the little boy. "until we meet again, hobi"

christmas day.

"momma, wake up! its Christmas" hoseok begged his mom, she smiled at his cuteness and yawned. "alright, alright" she woke up and got dressed, heading to the tree as hoseok tried controlling his excitement.
after they were done opening gifts, hoseok yawned as he hugged his mom. "can i go outside and play again?" Hoseok asked, his mother sighing as she agreed. he smiled brightly and ran upstairs, changing quickly and heading back downstairs and
opened the door slowly. he saw yoongi playing again and squealed to himself, running towards the area. "yoon!" he giggled, jumping up and down as yoongi laughed slightly. Hoseok stopped and laughed nervously. "too much? too much.." hoseok mumbled before yoongi shook his head. "never! not for me atleast" yoongi said as they both shared a blush. as they where laughing hoseok noticed two girls coming their way, hoseok bit his lip and stood next to yoongi. "hi! im yeojin, and this is choerry" she greeted, hoseok sighing and waving slightly. "merry christmas boys!" they heard a voice behind them which were a few new girls coming their way once more. they had gifts in their hands, hoseoks eyes lit up at how beautifully decorated they were. "these are for you" one of the girls said as the other handed them boxes. Hoseok bowed to them, thanking them in a respectful way, like his mother taught him. "t-thank you girls" hoseok said nervously before they all smiled, walking away and playing more.

throughout the winter season, as snow began to continuously fall, the two boys became pretty good friends. sometimes even visiting each others houses in secret. "hey hobi?" Yoongi called out from the other side of the room, yawning. "yes yoon?" Hoseok answered, walking towards him and handing him a cookie. "will we stay friends..even after winter?" he pouted slightly, hoping their friendship wasn't a limited time thing. "of course yoon! this is the happiest ive been..ever" Hoseok blushed, sitting down next to him looking out the window at the cold weather. "great, i was sure gonna miss your hugs" he giggled laying his head on his shoulder. hoseok giggled with him and laid his head down, against yoongis. the two boys laid there, hands just an inch away from eachother. hoseok felt his eyes get droopy, closing them and smiling.
it was hours later, his mom had came home from work and she went upstairs looking for hoseok. "hoseok dear i-" she was cut off from her words at the two boys sleeping peacefully on the floor. she smiled, laughing it off quietly. "ill let them sleep, just have to find who this kid belongs to" she thought, turning on the tiny lights in the room just so they could have a bit of light. "goodnight you two." she mumbled, closing the door and heading to bed.
