"...I'm gonna let God fix it," Adrik stood. "Because if I fix it I'm going to jail. Again." He grabbed his coat.

Danya followed him out. "Heading back to the bar?" He asked.

Adrik just nodded simply, taking a cigarette out of his pocket, putting it in his mouth. Danya lit it for him hurriedly, as they walked down the sidewalk.

"Oh look, is that that woman. What was her name?" Danya remarked, pointing across the street.

Michelle looked at the sign in confusion. Adrik sighed, crossing the street.

"Michelle," he called, making her turn around. She grinned.

"Adrik! Twice in one night? Must be fate."

His lips quirked up. "You lost?"

She shrugged. "Can you tell? I walked to the bar but I can't exactly remember my way back."

Adrik put his hand on her back, steadying her. "I see you chose to drink."

"A little," she smiled. Adrik shifted. "Why don't I walk you home? Or I can call you a cab. Not good to be alone, like this. This late."

Michelle leaned against him. Adrik sighed. "Come on then," he held her up, walking her down the street.

"You should call a cab next time," he admonished her.

"I was trying to get my steps in," she flashed her watch. "I usually would call a cab, but it was a really short walk and I thought...save the planet."

He chuckled. "Save yourself first, sweetheart. It's not much of a planet underground."

"Is this a very dangerous area," she gripped her purse.

Adrik looked down at her. "There's some crime here, yes. People are crazy. You can never be too careful you know?"

His eyes were so intense, she shifted. "And what about you?"

He raised a brow. "What about me?"

She smiled. "No...I think...you're a good boy."

Adrik just smiled,  "Am I now?" He smirked.

Her eyes almost had a sparkle as she glanced up at him, cupping his face.

"Yes...I think you're a good boy. Aren't you?"

Adrik shifted before looking back at her. "I'll be good for you. Let's get you home."

Michelle giggled, suddenly standing up straight. "Alright...it's over."

He raised a brow. She just shrugged. "Alcohol moves out of my system really quick."

Adrik looked over her. "That quick? You're just sober now?"

"Please. It was just a tequila sunrise," she chuckled.

He grinned. "I see. Then are you good from here?"

She leaned into him, "If you mean can I get home by myself? Yes. But do I want to go home alone?"

His lips quirked up. "I don't know. I think you're still a little...tipsy, sweetheart. You should sleep it off."

Michelle touched the bottom of his shirt, making him glance down, watching her fingers fiddle with his button down.

He lifted his eyes to meet hers. "Where are to from again, Michelle?"

"Small town out in Virginia," she whispered. He smirked.

"I see. Come on," he put his large hand around her waist. "Show me the way."

Michelle looked up at him. "To my house? Straight ahead."

Adrik got her to her house, standing at the door step as she unlocked her door.

"Good night, Michelle,"

She grabbed his shirt. "Thank you for walking me home," she whispered.

He smiled. "It was my pleasure."

"Sure I can't invite you in for...a cup of coffee?" She offered.

He shifted. He knew what she was offering. That fine body of hers. He would love to take it, to bend her over and kiss every inch of her.

"Caffeine this time of night?" He opted for.

She leaned in a bit closer. "A nightcap then?"

He chuckled. "I don't fuck drunk women. It's against my principles, Princess."

Michelle smiled. "I'm not drunk."

"Well I'm not sure," he put his hands on her hips. "But hey, you find me around town completely sober, and maybe it'll be a different story."

Michelle just giggled. "You're a gentleman. I like that."

Adrik just smiled, squeezing her hip gently. "Go on inside, gorgeous."

She leaned up, her lips hovering over his for a moment before settling on his cheek.

"Thanks again," she went into her house, closing the door behind her.

He licked his lips before turning around, shaking his head.
