I came home, startled. I ate dinner, and went to bed early. I didn't go to bed early because I was tired, but I wanted to see what was in the bag. I opened the bag, when I saw there was another bag. I decided to open that last. The big bag had a couple of pictures in it. There was a pencil and an eraser. The pictures were amazing, they were so professional. The first one was a picture of a girls face. She was looking away. It almost looked like I was in the picture with her because it was so realistic. I could feel her emotions, like she didn't like being in photos. The other one, looked familiar. It was the tall trees I saw earlier today. But there was something different about them. There was this thick, wide tree, and I did see that tree today. But there was a crack in it, a subtle one. There was a luminous light coming from it. Those were the only pictures. The pencil was carved with designs. I put the stuff back in the bag and shoved it under my bed. I opened the other bag, and my jaw dropped.

I began screaming, and I heard footsteps. What I saw in there, was a totally real, human skull. I shoved it under my bed, and my mother and brother came in, looking like they just woke up. I sat there on the floor looking up at them.

"What's the matter Chry?" my mother soothingy asked. I couldn't tell her the truth.

"Um... a bad dream, I guess- I don't remeber it..." I replied.

"Well, goodnight Chry, try to get some sleep." my mother said, a little worringly. My brother left, mumbling something I couldn't make out. My mother left, and I took out the skull. I hid it in the very back of the closet, with all the stuff i don't use.

I barely went to sleep that night.
