I started to walk kicking the stone on the road.After my episode I informed Jasmine ro postpone our meeting. I felt like being alone. She is anyway planned to go for club with her boyfriend. I wished her Good night and left after assuring John that I am okay.

Suddenly i heard some clattering and grunting sound.I rushed towards the source of the sound. I just want to call police and get lost but what if the person died before they come. I turned the corner peeking around.

"Oh my god" I muttered and stood their frozen.

At least seven guys who are like buff gym guys fighting  with.....alex.

Shit he is trying to escape from them by punching and kicking but he is outnumbered. Seriously one to seven guys. Those cowards.

One guy started to walk towards alex with knife in his hand .My hand automatically covered my mouth in silent gasp.

Alex is struggling with their hold. He frowned at the guy who is approaching him slowly.

Without my knowledge i started to run towards them. What are you thinking?! Lex you can't fight them. But I can't help increase my pace towards him when the guy neared Alex.

"ALEX!!" I screamed .

Everyone turn towards me. Alex looked at me with wide eyes and muttered incoherently.

"Lex don't come here go away... Please" Alex shouted at me.

I started to move towards them but two guys came behind me and hold my two arms.

"You bastards let me go" i struggled and shout at them.

"You are not supposed to be here Alexondra" The masked guy with knife started to walk towards me.

My whole body stiffened "How do you know my name?" I asked shuddering at the thought of some murderer knowing my name.

But he chuckled .

"Hey ..You want me only..Dont do anything to her" Alex shouted at him.

"What ?! I never ever hurt her.She is mine" The guy said like Alex offended him.

What the hell he is talking about..? Iam not the damn property.

Alex struggled grunting and kicking continuously but the other guys are too strong.

That guy came near me and looked at me tilting his head to his left side. Since he is wearing mask like thing i can't see his face.

I gulped my own saliva.I struggled to let go off the hold.
He came too close to my face i can smell mint.

I saw he has  brown eyes like molten chocolate blazing with lust. I stared to hyperventilate and did a thing which will cost my life.

I raised my knee and kicked at his groin but before i make my move he stopped by catching my knee.
He chuckled shaking his head.

"Not a good move" He growled making me squeal .

He raised his hand ,i flinched thinking about the pain of ,but it never came instead i felt his calloused fingers brushing my tear stained cheeks.

"Take your filthy hands you bastard" Alex shouted enraged. I whimpered shaking in my own body.

"Shut up." He said calmly still his hands on cheeks and he continued.

"She is mine..You got everything which is meant to be mine but i wont let you get near to her..i wont give up on her and I found you expressed your love towards her. It's only time before she will like you. Anyway she proved it by coming to rescue. so i decided to kill you so that she can be mine" He said still his hand on my cheeks.

"What do you mean i have everything meant to be yours since i dont even know you" Alex yelled at him.

The guy turned around to look at Alex.

"Of course  you don't know who am i...but iam not going to say it though" He said twirling his knife in between his finger and moved towards Alex.

I dont know what to do.

"Hey you are killing him because you think i like him right?,,but truth is i dont...how come i like him when he is such a a jerk.... so just leave him." I said calmly praying God for him to trust me.

Alex looked at me with pain in his eyes...its ok alex i will explain to you later.

I dont wanna lose you. I realised I like him so much to lose him. He may be jerk but he is good under his unmovable expression.

"If you dont like him then why you are defending him?" he asked making me flinch.

"Iam not defending him ,,i just dont want someone get killed thats it.i mean if you kill him its just a matter of seconds but if you let him live he will live in hell thinking about me being with you right?" I said in my calm voice.

"Hmm it seems good...but still i want to take my grudge out of me on him" He said pointing to him.

and he continued " And you know that iam capable of killing someone then how can you like me?" he asked.

Shit why he is asking so much questions like police.

"Yeah you tried to kill him because you love me right?..No one cared about me since  i am kid but i came to know how much you like me as you are trying to kill someone..that's  just...great" I said fake smiling to convince him.

I looked at the direction of Alex who is seeing me with hurt in his eyes.

Iam sorry ,I have to save you..i thought to myself.

"Ooooo....see Alex ,the only girl  you ever loved dont want you" He said amusingly taunting him.

What he never had lover? Iam his first love?

"Ok then alexondra say to him'I dont love you ' "  He said putting his arm on my shoulder turning towards  face to face with alex.

"Dont say that lex " He said in a voice of hurt.

But thinking about his safety ,i closed my eyes inhaling sharply..

"I have to alex,,I never ever love you" I said boldly don't want that guy to get suspicious.

I saw Alex eyes glitters with tears.

I dont want to see him in this state.

The guy chuckled.

"Good..ok Alex you can go now...Say  'hi' to our mom and dad" He said to Alex signalling the guys to let go off him.

'Our mom and dad' what does it mean.

The guy is Alex's brother.

I stood frozen on the spot.
