On the 30th floor of a high-rise glass building in the Delhi city center, with a bold PARADISE sign on top of it, was the President's Office.

Inside her huge, well-furnished yet monotonous office, Geeta Varadhan was seated behind her work desk as her fingers swiftly flew across the keyboard.

Completely engrossed in her work, her deep, sharp eyes looked like an endless abyss from behind the rose-gold rimmed glasses.

The gold embellished custom-made ink pen glinted in between her long slender fingers, as she made remarks on the papers in front of her in her bold and elegant font.

Her pink kissable lips were slightly pursed accompanied by a slight frown on her perfect broad forehead, making her just as charming as a majestic Queen on her throne.

Suddenly a piano melody echoed through the silent office, shattering the peaceful veil of silence.

The sudden melody surprised Geeta causing the pen in her hand to slip, making the ink from the ink-pen spread, resulting in an ugly blotch of ink appearing on the clean sheet of paper with few numbers and graphs on it.

Sighing softly Geeta placed her pen back on the pen holder before picking up her mobile, only for a slight frown to appear on her flawless forehead.

"Hello, Dida [1]?"

Geeta accepted the call and asked in a slightly surprised voice.

"Oh, Sweetheart! I hope I'm not interrupting anything important?"

Bhumika Varadhan, Geeta's paternal grandmother asked in a fond and doting tone.

"Can there be something more important than my beautiful ladylove?"

"Such a flirt! Whom do you take after?"

Geeta chuckled softly at her Grandma's annoyed taunt which she found to be extremely amusing.

"You brat! Why are you flirting with my Wifey?"

"Dadu [2] it would be a sin to not compliment such a beauty!"

"Brat! Get this straight only I can compliment my wife!"

"Possessive much, aren't we?"

Geeta teased her paternal grandfather, Ashok Varadhan with a soft chuckle, earning a scoff in return.

"Forget it. Come over tonight for dinner."

"Something special?"

"If there is nothing special you won't meet us?"

"May I know why I'm being targeted out of blue?"

Geeta was completely clueless and weirded out by being targeted so blatantly. No matter what she said they just turned it against her.
