Rewrite the Stars ¦ Marauders Era

sorry for the wait peeps but I'm back. I'm skipping first year and going straight to second year if you don't mind. Sorry I'm just a bit lazy hihi. 

If you want me to add some chapters from first year just ask and I will or I can make a few short one-shot chapter about funny moments and things they all did together as friends. 

A year had passed and the Golden Trio has settled in really well into this era. It had taken some getting used to, being in the same classes as some of their old/future teachers (like severus and remus). At first they would accidentaly call Severus Professor Snape. Harry also kept calling James and Lily mum and dad but they never noticed because he always caught himself right before. 

It also took some time getting used to being preteens again, but after a year looking and acting like them it didn't feel wrong being childish anymore. 

Harry and Ron were having so much fun playing pranks on people with the Marauders (they tolerated Peter) and Hermione was enjoying her time with the girls and relearning every subject again that they had forgotten their role. The reason as to why they had been sent back in time. They were just enjoying themselves. It was fun going to Hogwarts without having to solve mysteries every year. 

Past Dumbledore always kept a close eye on them he knew that when the time would come they would remember their mission but for now he would let them have their fun. 

Draco was having a harder time fitting in however. He got along well with Severus and he was still friends with the Marauders and Lily. Even though the marauders hated Snape. 

He also got along well with Evan Rosier and his mother, Narcissa. Andromeda had left at the end of his first year but they promised that they would keep in touch. 

He didn't like his father, Lucius however. He was always teasing him and Snape because they were supposedly muggle-born. Even though snape was a half-blood and Draco was actually a pureblood. When the news came that him and Narcissa were to be married at the end of her last year of hogwarts he was actually disappointed. Which made no sense because otherwise he would never have been born. However, he thought his mother deserved better than Lucius. 

During the summer holidays after first year, the 4 of them stayed in Hogwarts. Hermione was invited to Lily's house for a week and Harry and Ron went to James' house. Lupin and Peter were there too. Thankfully, thougout the year, no personal questions about their parents were asked because those would've been too awkward to answer. 

Sirius had to stay with his parents because they were punishing him for being but into Gryffindor. The 4 time-travellers were definetely worried about him because they had met Walburga's screaming portrait in Grimmauld place and she was not a pleasent woman at all. 

They were also worried about Remus. He hadn't told anywone he was a werewolf yet but they already knew of course. The didn't know how or when he would confess but for now they would just let things play out. 

Draco wasn't invited anywhere during the summer so he stayed at hogwarts, minding his own business. He wasn't sad, no, he definetely wasn't. And he definetely didn't mind being called a mudblood everywhere he went. 

Second year went just as smoothly as the first. Re-learning all the subjects, spending time with future parents and teachers, and completely forgetting what they were actually here for; Stopping an incoming war. 

It wasn't until the first day of their 3rd year that the 4 of them snapped back into reality.
