Shawn's POV

I woke up dumbfounded to see that I was lying next to one of the most flawless girl naked. Maddie. If I could stare at her for an eternity, I would. But I had to go to work today, poo.

"Maddie," I said tapping her shoulder to wake her up. "I gotta go to work okay."

She's still asleep. She looks so precious when she's sleeping, like Cinderella. I didn't want her to feel like it was an one night stand, so I wrote "went to work, I'll be back later." on a piece of paper and left it on my nightstand. I went to the bathroom to find out that my face was covered with blood. Did I get punched in the face? I cleaned the blood off my face and changed into an orange plaid long-sleeve shirt and khaki pants.

When I got out of the bathroom Maddie was reading the note. "You're leaving me here alone?"

"My mom is still here. She can make you breakfast and then you can leave."

"Why don't you eat breakfast with me?"

"Sorry, I have to go eat on the go; if I eat breakfast here, then I'll be late to work again." I said putting on a blue jacket. "Do you want to come with me?"

"You want me to go to a record studio with you to go see five beautiful girls that are professional singers, who also make me very jealous?" Maddie stated. "Of course I want to go!" She's jealous of them? Why would she be jealous? There's no need to be jealous, they're just nice girls.

We stopped by McDonald's for me and Maddie and Starbucks for us and the girls. I remember their orders by heart since we get Starbucks basically every rehearsal.

When we got there, we only saw Normani and her boyfriend, Arin. They were dancing to some kind of tribal song. It was kind of disturbing, but it was hilarious. I couldn't help chuckle a few times. Finally, Normani screeched, "I can hear you Shawn."

"Well, can you hear my girlfriend?"I said trying to show her off using hand motions around her body. Even though we didn't ask each other out, I fell like we are boyfriend and girlfriend.

"Stop, you're being weird." Maddie said.

Arin put the game on pause to introduce himself. "Hello, I'm Arin and you are.."

"I'm Maddie, Shawn's girlfriend." 

"Ayee," Normani said. "We can go on a double date. Wouldn't that be cool Arin!" 

"That seem cool." Arin stated. "How about after rehearsal? Pizza?"

"Seems like a plan," I said. 

To pass the time until the other members came, we had a couples cooking competition; who ever makes the best dessert wins.

We all headed to the market to go buy the items we needed, the twist was, it had to be under 30 dollars. We decided to make brownie pie ala mode with frozen hot chocolate.  Maddie and I got rocky road ice cream that was all ready made, pie crust, pecans, chocolate chips, and caramel sauce. The price was around 27.  Normani's cart contained peanut butter cookie mix, peanut butter cups, peanuts, and oreos. They could actually beat us I thought..

We ran straight to the kitchen with the groceries about to start the competition. "On your marks, get set," I said getting into a position so I could unravel the bags. "Go!"
