Shawn's POV
Thr ride to the dinner was pretty uneventful, then again, I did have my headphones in the whole ride there. The headphone sounded everything out, but before I put my music on blast, I thought twice about toning out the world.
"Are you too dating?" My mom asked Madison.
The curious side of me came out. I pretended to listen to my music, closing my eyes, acting like I'm sleeping.
"No, I don't even think that we're friends at the moment." She muttered.
"What did you do?"
"He won't tell me. He wanted me to leave when I arrived at your house."
"Well Madison, any guest is welcomed into our house." My mom said. She was lying. I could always tell when my mom lies. Like, when I was eight, we had the neighbors come over for dinner and she complimented the mother's skirt, and had a weird tone to her voice.
There was silence.
Madison finally broke the silence, which I liked. "Where are we going to eat?"
"At this really fancy place call, Providence. The girls picked it out." My mom stated.
"Who are these girls?"
"Did Shawn not tell you? He got a job. He's the vocal coach for this girl group called Fifth Harmony."
"He didn't tell me anything.. I didn't even know he got a job!" I couldn't remember the rest of the conversation when I actually fell asleep.
"Wake up Scooby, we're here." My mom said as her hand shook my shoulder back and forth. I knocked out for probably an hour or two. I wiped off the slobber on my face and exited the car. I saw all of the girls in front of the restaurant., except for Ally.
"WHY AREN'T YOU WEARING RED?! Camila exclaimed.
"I am." I looked down and my bow tie wasn't there. I thought I had it on my shirt when we left the house. "Oh well."
"WE AREN'T MATCHING! NOW I CAN'T TAKE PICTURES CAUSE IT WON'T LOOK RIGHT!" I saw tears coming from Camila's eyes. This must have been a big deal to her.
Ally's POV
I wanted to arrive really early so I could impress Shawn's mom. He rarely talks about his mom, then again, I wouldn't talk about my mom either. I arrived twenty minutes early to the restaurant. I spent half of my time singing to One Direction, but I had to go use the little girl's room. I left my car and headed into the restaurant.
I headed straight to the little girl's room, into the stall. Let's just say that mother nature gave me a surprise while I was in there. I didn't have anything with me, I was the only one in there too. "Great." I mumbled to myself.
Camila's POV
Where the heck is Ally!?
"Have any of you guys seen Ally?" I asked everyone.
"No." They all said.
"She's probably late, as usual." Lauren said.
We all walked into the restaurant together, and Shawn went up to the hostess getting our table. He looked so cute in his white collared button up, and those khakis. Mmmmm. I stared at him from head to toe admiring his good looks.
"Why are you looking at my boyfriend?" Some girl said behind me.
"Sorry, and who are YOU?" I asked sarcasticly emphasizing you.
"His girlfriend. Maddie. You didn't answer my question. Why are you looking at my boyfriend?"
Who does this girl think she is, talking to me like that. OH HAILLLL TO THE NO. Lauren, Dinah, and Normani noticed how I was getting frustrated and butted into the conversation before I did something I would regret doing.
"Hey! Our table is ready!" Lauren said. She walked beside me whispering, "She isn't worth it Camila."
We sat down at our table about to order our drinks, then "Shawn's girlfriend" got up to go to the bathroom, assuming because, she brought her ugly purse with her. It's actually not ugly, but I don't like her, so I don't like her purse.
"So guys.... This is my mom, Carol O'Donnell." Shawn said.
"Call me Carol or Ms. O'Donnell." Ms. O'Donnell said.
"Where's Mr. O'Donnell then?" I asked curiously.
"Camila! You can't just ask people personal questions like that." Lauren said to me.
"It's okay. I'm an open person. He died when Shawn was 6 from drug overdose."
"I'm so sorry." I said putting my head down in shame.
"It's okay Camila. I'm fine with talking about him. He wasn't really a father figure to me anyways." Shawn said, giving me a slight grin.
Ally's POV.
I was still sitting on the toilet for a good 10 minutes, I assumed, waiting for someone to save me from this hell hole. Finally I heard the clicking of walking heels coming closer and closer.
"Camila? Dinah? Normani? Lauren? Anybody there? I need... a tampon.." I said getting shivers down my back. A girl with red heels slid a tampon under the stall.
"God bless you" I whispered thankfully. I cleaned up and left the stall to see my savior in person. It was a brunette with an adorable, cute outfit. I wanted to ask where she got it, but she doesn't even know my name.
"Thank you for giving me that. I really appreiciate it." I said thanking her.
"No problem, it's always good to help another lady out." She said trying to put on a red bowtie.
"Cute bow tie." complimenting her.
"Do you want it?" She asked.
"I mean if you insist."
"Take it, I have alot of bow ties at home anyways."
"Thank you, I'm Ally by the way."
"I'm Madison, but call me Maddie." She said leaving the bathroom.
I stayed in the bathroom trying on the bow tie. After i put it on, I tried going to my car to get my things, but I heard Dinah holler, "ALLY!!!" How long have they been here? I went straight to where they were sitting. Guess who was sitting next to Shawn. Maddie.
