The Forgotten Dress

sothis is a shorter chapter, a bit of a filler so sorry if itsshockingly bad so enjoy. I have wrote fleur into this slightly sosorry if it sounds weird but trying to make it seem like she has aFrench accent is hard.

Onemore day until the ball and me, ly and scorp has discovered someground rules. I have to enter and exit the ball with scorp and I haveto have at least three dances of all of mine with him. which I sortof understand I mean he did ask me first.

todayis Friday but just as I've found out there's no lessons,awe OK somaybe I'm a little happy but the 'smartest girl in Hogwarts' needclasses. the only reason they cancelled lessons is this stupid ball.here I am enjoying my breakfast just about to tuck into my bacon whenI am pulled away from the table and lead out the great hall. what iswrong with these people who deprives a young girl of her food, Iturned round to see who it was and immediately recognized the waistlength auburn hair.

"lily.what. are. you doing?" she stopped and swung me round to face awindow, I always used sat there in first year when I needed to think."what do you see?" I looked out the window. "hogsmeade."she sighed and jabbed a finger back against the window. "no.there." I closed one eye and squinted to see what was lookingat. "the dress robes shop." then it hit me, I still hadn'tgot a gown. "oh my Merlin." she looked at me with an Itold you so look.she smirked. "so shall we actually go or are you just going togawk at the shop?"

rushingto my dorm to get my money, I ran straight into a very hard muscularchest. toppling backwards someone clutched me round the waist andpulled me up, I looked up and found Aden smirking at me. he looks alot cuter than he used to,wait no lysander!

"heycareful there Rosie" I blushed. "sorry rushing, last minuteshopping." he laughed. "yeah lily told me." oh, waitlily since when did they talk. "yeah well,see ya." "yeahsee ya." he waved goodbye and I waved over my shoulder fleetingto the tower.

whenI had finally got my money I met lily at the gates. she stood armsfolded tapping her foot. "took you long enough." she smiledat my weak body still panting from the sprint. "yeah...ran intoAden..wasn't looking....talked for a bit."

suddenlyshe looked at the floor and blushed. "did. he. umm...sayanything about me?" what is going on today. "um, no, justthat you had told him I hadn't bought a gown." she looked up alook of relief on her face.

"OKlets go." she grabbed me and for the second time today imdragged off somewhere.

steppinginto gladragswizardwear mark 2 a small bell went off and a verycheery looking aunt fleur came out from the storage room.

"ellozer rozie,lily how ar you?" I couldn't help but smile afterall this time ( always. sorryhad to) shestill hadn't lost her accent. "im great aunt fleur just cameto buy my gown." her face suddenly lit up. "oh rozie, meand your mozer picked out a dress for you to try.let me just get it."she glided across the room gracefully, sometimes I wish I was partveela. she got to the door and swung round. "oh and lily don'ttouch. anyzink." lily's hand slipped away from a very sparklytiara, she smiled a guilty smile and held her hands up. aunt fleurswung back round and chuckled "girlz."

lilyhuffed "I swear she has eyes in the batch of her head." Icouldn't help but giggle. two minutes later aunt fleur came outwith a beautiful blue gown covered in dimontis with a floaty skirt."oh its beautiful how much?" she picked it up and startedpacking into a bag. "oh, no your mozer bought zee dress thoughshe did say you'd have to pay for zee shoes and zee tiara." shepulled out a pair of dimontis covered heels and a small diamondtiara.

"zatwill be 10 galleonz" I gave her the coins and picked up mypurchases. "thanks aunt fleur see you soon." she wavedgoodbye as we left the store.

wellthat's that. all that's left now is to go to the ball. ohboy ,cant wait.

sorryfor the super late update the next chapter might be up in a week ortwo but seen as right now im off school it shouldn't take to long.the next chapter is another shortish one because in my notebook(where the original copy is kept) its only four and a half pages moreor less.
