steve x captain [ VARIETY ONESHOTS ]

it was another ordinary day in the military. not much was happening. steve was walking down the halls, making sure that the soldiers were doing their patrols. all of a sudden, when steve turned the corner, he bumped into captain, making steve fall on top of him.

"eh- s-sorry, cap!" steve said, immediately getting up, dusting himself off. he held out his hand for captain to grab. captain was blushing, but due to their helmets, it wasn't visible. captain smiled, and grabbed steve's hand, getting up, and not letting go. sure, they've had some 'suggestive' moments, so steve found this normal.

"heh, it's nothing." captain said, still smiling.

"so um.. can you let go now?-"

"oh- yeah, sorry." captain said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"so.. see you later?"

"yeah, see you later."

they both walked their separate ways. captain was quite happy about what had happened.

after some time, steve was outside at the gun training area, helping another soldier, he adjusted their hands and posture. captain was staring at them from afar, clearly jealous.

he made a plan for something that day.

smiling mischievously, he walked back to his office.

it had become nighttime, and captain was walking around the base, making sure everyone was doing what they were supposed to. captain had told steve that he could head to bed early, and so he did. as for captain, though..

he went looking around for that one soldier. he didn't want anyone taking steve from him, he'd be heartbroken, of course! so he couldn't let that chance slip by.

after walking for a while, he found the soldier outside, alone, smoking. captain's eyes lit up, and walked over to him.

"hey there!"

"oh, hello captain, sir."
