Kasey walked onto the field and sat next to Stiles on the bench. "Kent! Why are you on my bench?!" Coach Finstock hollered. "I'm keeping it warm." she responded. Jackson scoffed, "More like the players." Kasey rolled her eyes as she averted her attention to the field, all of the teams getting into place. Noah approached Stiles and Kasey from behind, his head above their shoulders in between them. "Hey kids. So, you think we'll see any action tonight?" Noah wondered. "Action?" Stiles asked before answering his own question, "Maybe."

The ref placed the ball on the ground. The ref blew his whistle, Jackson got the ball. Scott ran trying to get the teammate to see him but he passed to 26. Number 26 passed and missed, dropping the ball. Jackson and Scott both ran for the ball, but Jackson knocked Scott off his feet and onto the ground before scoring, ending the play. Scott stood up, looking at the bleachers. Stiles and Kasey's eyes followed where Scott was looking. Allison and Lydia were holding up a sign that said "We Luv U Jackson". Kasey sighed while Stiles looked at her commenting on the sign, "Brutal." Scott walked away huffing. "This isn't going to be good." Kasey predicted. Stiles nodded, "Agreed."

A few players from Beacon Hills' team huddled, Scott not being part of it. "Only to me." Jackson told the huddle. "But what if he's open?" Danny asked. "Who's the captain? You or me?" Jackson scoffed. "Jackson, come on dude, I just wanna win." Danny tried. "We will win. What did I say? Huh ? What. Did. I. Say?" Jackson pressed. Danny sighed, "Don't pass to McCall." Jackson rewardingly hit Danny in the chest with his glove before the huddle broke apart. "Shit." Kasey muttered, having heard the entire conversation.

Kasey heard low growling as Scott got into position. Players noticed something off with Scott and slowly backed away from him. Stiles noticed and uncomfortably fidgeted in his spot. Kasey noticed, reaching over to hold his hand in an attempt to calm his nerves. The ball flew up into the air. Scott's attention on it, he jumped up over the players, catching the ball with his lacrosse stick. Scott darted across the field, dodging opposing players and shooting the ball into the net. Beacon Hills' fans and teammates all jumped up in celebration while Jackson stood annoyed. "Pass to McCall!" Coach Finstock called to the team over and over. The next round began. The opposing team started with the ball and began running the wrong way. He turned around to be faced with a yellow-eyed Scott. Terrified, he passed the ball to Scott who ran towards the net. Coach sat next to Stiles who was chewing nervously on his glove. "Did the opposing team just deliberately pass us the ball?" Coach Finnstock asked. "Yes, I believe so, Coach." Stiles responded. Scott dodged players before shooting the ball into the goal and through the net of the goalie's lacrosse stick. Coach hummed, "Interesting."

Everyone cheered as the next play started. Scott huffed as he held the ball in his net from Jackson's pass. He searched for an opening before aiming and scoring the winning point. Everyone hollered and clapped, running onto the field as Scott escaped from the crowd. Kasey watched as Allison followed him towards the locker room. "Crap." Kasey said to herself, getting up and going after Allison. Halfway there, Kasey was stopped by Stiles. "Where are you going?" He asked. "Scott went to the locker room and Allison followed him. I think she's gonna get killed." Kasey told him. "Well then why are we standing here?! Let's go!" He exclaimed, grabbing Kasey's hand and running in the direction of the locker room.

Stiles and Kasey entered the locker room to see Allison and Scott kissing. Allison greeted the pair with a small wave as she walked away, "Kasey, Stiles." Kasey gave her an awkward smile as she left. Stiles and Kasey approached Scott. "I kissed her." Scott breathed. "We saw." Stiles said. "She kissed me." "Saw that too. That's pretty good, huh?" "I don't know how, but I controlled it. I pulled it back. Maybe I can do this. Maybe it's not that bad." Scott realized. "Yeah, heh. We'll talk later then." Stiles said, lightly hitting Scott on the chest before attempting to walk away. Scott gripped Stiles's jersey. "What?" Scott asked concerningly. Stiles sighed, "The medical examiner looked at the other half of the body we found." "And?" Scott pressed. "Well I'll keep it simple. Medical examiner determined killer of girl to be animal, not human. Derek's human, not animal. Derek not killer. Derek let out of jail." Stiles told them. "You're joking." Kasey said. "No, and here's a bigger kick in the ass. My dad ID'd the dead girl, both halves. Her name was Laura Hale." "Hale?!" Scott and Kasey exclaimed in disbelief. Stiles confirmed his words, "Derek's sister."

Kasey walked into her house, closing the door behind her. She made her way up stairs, tossing her keys on her bedside table. Just as she was about to close her door, Kara appeared. "Why were you out so late? You weren't flying around again, were you?!" Kara pressed. "No, I was out with Scott and Stiles. We got Panda." Kasey told her, holding up her take out bag. "Good. And fix that damn window, the house is freezing." "Really? I didn't notice because I thought temperature doesn't affect us?" Kasey spoke. Kara's jaw clenched. "Fix. The damn. Window." Kara spoke through gritted teeth. "I'll think about it." Kasey shut her bedroom door, placing her food on the ground before plopping onto her bed for an almost restless sleep.
