Chapter 4

Author's pov

Where in the immortal world the news of the knife gone missing was spreading the fire meanwhile in the mortal world, Sam and his fellows were constantly trying to kill y/n, but every time she was saved by some or the other ways. Y/n has now started thinking that she is not normal and this thought is affecting her mind. She thinks she's crazy and not a part of this world. She locked herself in her apartment since last night.

Later in the evening as planned, yoongi, Taehyung and Jungkook left their house and go to y/n's apartment building.

Yoongi : we need to make sure we don't scare her.
Tae : yes hyung, she is already scared, she thinks that she is crazy.
JK : but what if we are the ones to be scared of her?
The youngest asked innocently.
Yoongi : focus kook.

Y/n's pov

I heard my doorbell, but I was too scared to go out and open the door, what if it's Sam again. The doorbell won't stop but then suddenly I heard a loud bang. I wanted to go out and check but I was trembling so much that I wasn't able to stand up.

I heard footsteps coming in my room's direction, I hid myself in the blanket, I heard the twisting of the doorknob. I don't want to make a noise so I covered my mouth, tears involuntarily came out of my eyes.
There was silence for a while until I heard someone speaking.

Person 1: I don't think she's here.
Person 2: I think your right hyung, maybe she left this place.
Person 3: no, she's here, I can feel her presence.
Person 1: here comes the lover boy.

There are three people I guess but I haven't heard their voices before. Suddenly the blanket I was hiding in was pulled away, I didn't want to open my eyes, I was too scared.

Y/n: please leave me, I really don't have anything to give you. Please
I said sobbing.
Person 3 : we aren't here for anything.
He said softly.

And I open my eyes to look at him.
A handsome face with shiny eyes as if you can see the stars in them, and some sort of comfort in his presence.
I was looking at him for a while and then I diverted my gaze towards the other two men in my room. the shorter one had milky white skin with black hair, but his eyes were cold, the other one looked young and innocent his eyes were filled with surprises and questions and more.

I felt the side of the bed sink and immediately scooted away from him.
Person 3: hey, I'm not going to harm you, my name is Kim Taehyung.
Person 2: hi my name is Jeon Jungkook.
Person 3: I'm yoongi, Min Yoongi.
Tae : can you tell us your name?
I hesitated at first but eventually said my name.
Y/n: I- I'm Y/n.
As soon as I said my name I heard gasps, I looked up and saw yoongi with wide eyes and open mouth.

JK : what happened hyung?
But he ignored the question asked by the younger and asked me more questions
Yoongi : who gave you this name?
Y/n: probably my parents. Why?
Yoongi : where are your parents?
Y/n: she said they died.
Yoongi : who said?
Y/n: why are you asking me so many questions?
I asked him because I was getting confused and angry.
Yoongi : okay, I'm sorry. But just answer my last question. Please.
He asked me with a desperate face while the other two were confused at his sudden change of emotions.
Yoongi : are you y/n Masalis?
Y/n: yes but why?
Jk : hyung? It's her? The girl from the story? But she's alive.
Tae : hyung?

I was so confused right now, what story? What girl? I'm alive? Of course, I'm alive. Was I supposed to be dead?
I'm dead? That's why I can't die even after Sam tried to kill me so many times? Oh, God! My head is gonna burst right now.

Yoongi : you need to come with us. NOW.
I flinched with his sudden rise in voice.
Tae : hyung scaring her.
Yoongi : well, there are more scary things out there who want to kill her and get that necklace.
He said pointing towards the necklace I'm wearing.
Y/n: I'm not going this to anyone.
Yoongi : it's not yours to be given. Now pack your things fast and come with us.

He was so furious at this time that none of us dare to open our mouths.
But I was not sure if I would be safe with them or not. I was in my thoughts when I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked at the person beside me.
Tae : don't think so much, I promise you'll be safe with us.
I was shocked, did he read my mind?
I then heard him chuckling.
Tae : yes I can read your mind.
I swear to God my eyes are gonna come out of my eye socket.
Tae : don't worry, you'll get to know the reason soon. But for now we need to hurry up. You are not safe out there.

I give him a nod and get up from the bed. I took out my bag and started packing up some of my clothes and essential stuff. I took the box that was given to me by that lady and leave my room. But as soon as I enter the hall room I saw yoongi - yoongi oppa I guess. I saw yoongi oppa with moist eyes but he immediately looked away and walked away from there. After that, we all followed him and entered their car. All this time I could feel either of them looking at me. They told me I have a very significant past that's why Sam was trying to kill me.

Author's pov

They reached home, the three of them entered the house with y/n in taehyung's arms as she fell asleep during the journey. The other members were waiting for them in the hall room.
Jin : tae, take her to the guest room, we already asked the maids to clean it.
Tae : okay hyung.

With that Taehyung went up to the guest room. While everyone in the hall room bombarded the other two with questions.
Namjoon : why did you bring her here?
Yoongi : we had to. And now we need to protect her.
Jin: what is it that you are not telling us, yoongi?
Yoongi : *sigh* sit down, I'll tell you everything.
Everyone sat down on the sofa and waited for him to speak.
Yoongi : she their daughter.
Namjoon : who's daughter? Say it properly hyung.
Yoongi : *tearing up a little * she is the Maia gave birth to, she is Lily's and Castor's daughter.
Jin : this can't be true. There must be a misunderstanding.
Yoongi : her name is y/n Masalis. She has that pendant. She heals like us and her eyes.... Her eyes remind me of... Of Maia.
Everyone went quiet after listening to him, no one knew what to say. After a while, they heard Taehyung coming back. He was about to say something but the door burst opened reviling a woman, dressed simply in a red gown, beads around her wrist, open hair but an angry expression on her face.

Namjoon : Mina--

Mina : SHE ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE HERE.
