My Best Friend Eleanor Calder

Chapter 1

ELEANOR'S POV

"Jade hurry up you're going to miss your flight!", I yelled down the corridor of my flat.

"Coming, coming! Calm down", she screamed back.

Jade and I met about 4 months ago over twitter when she tweeted me saying that I was beautiful and asked me how I was so I followed her back because I thought that was nice of her. And ever since we talked everyday. So I invited her to come over from Australia in her school holidays over to England to stay with me for a while. We are now the best of friends.

"Ok, I'm done", she said looking down at herself checking she looked okay.

"Alright, let's go", I said smiling and impressed she was finally done.

JADE'S POV

I hoped into El's car, looking down at my hands sadly. I really didn't want to leave her. We had so much fun together and she was going to be lonely again because Danielle is touring with her dance company and Louis and the boys are on your again.

"You okay", a worried Eleanor looked at me.

"Yeah, it's just ill miss you", I said as a tear streamed down my cheek.

"Aww, hon ill miss you too", she said leaning over to give me a hug.

"Okay let's go, or I really will miss the flight", I said chuckling and she joined in.

As we got to the airport we were greeted by a couple of photographers, which was really weird for me as no one has ever wanted to take my picture. Eleanor just seemed to take it in her stride.

Since I have been around her there has been a lot of publicity over me. They have presumed that I am hanging around her because I am dating a member of One Direction. When really that isn't the case I haven't even met them. I am just another fan.

After an hour of waiting I finally had to board my plane back to Australia.

"I'll miss you Jadie", El said squeezing me into a tight hug. "Miss you too El" I said trying to hold back some tears that I could feel welling up.

"Ok you've gotta go now", she sniffed while trying to hold back the flow of tears.

"Yep, love you. Thanks for letting me stay with you bye"

"Anytime, love you. Call me when you land", she said smiling.

"Yep, bye", I replied giving her a smile and then turned my back and walked towards the plane.

I know it's short but I wanted my first chapter to be an introduction more than anything.
