The last survivor ( Y/N story)

Chapter 1 (Getting ready for the mission)

Y/n's POV:

The room was dark and quiet. I knew what was about to happen. "You have a mission Y/n," the grim voice rattled around the room. " I have just gotten word that the Avengers have resurrected a few... fallen faces." I looked at the figure talking to me. I stumbled over my words, "Who?" The figured looked down at me taking in my wordless expression. "Y/n you should know by now, it is all over the news." I should of known. How could I of been so stupid? "Gather your things, and head down to the lab so you can get ready." The voice continues saying. I thank the figure and leave. My head is going at a million miles an hour. I can't think straight. How could someone be resurrected? 

(Time jump- to Y/n getting all of her stuff together and being at the lab.)

Even though I had been through the process a thousand times, I still froze in the door way. I knew it would hurt but I knew it would not kill me. I told myself to calm down. I took a deep breath and I went inside.

The room was overly bright and it was way too clean. The equipment looking out of place. One of the lab tech's took my bag and shoved me towards the torture device sitting in the middle of the room. I knew it was just the usual process for going on a mission but it still scared me.

I forced myself to sit down, the chair locking in my arms and feet a rubber mouth guard is placed into my mouth. A rounded plate with spikes on the inside clasped onto my face. I scream.

The machine I am strapped to used to be used to brain wash Bucky. I know that but since the whole Captain America thing. It's been upgraded. Now it feeds you the information for your next mission.

One thing the Avengers don't know is that while for the most part when the world was told about HYDRA people were glad that it was being taken down. There are some people that gave into the way of HYDRA. These people usually had a lot of money so there were some upgrades....
