The school MSS(muslim student society and FCS(christian association) where throwing  sendforth for bint's horizon student, mimi heard late so she didn't bother to pick what to wear . On getting to school ya zaid dropped me saying he would be back to pick me, immediately I entered all prying eyes where on me, It was only now I realized what ya zaid was trying to tell me, everone was wearing black and white Jalab,jilbab,hijab adding hills, I was looking like a clown
I saw the girls at a seat at the back, so I went there with people eyes following me.
After the sendforth programme Dr suleiman asked to see Mimi wanting to ask her about the exam
After the sendforth Mimi went to see Dr suleiman where they discussed about her Jamb result and her applied institution.
When Mimi got home her father asked her to come and see him,he told her he won't allow her to go to bayero university kano, saying"how do you expect me to explain to dad (grandma) the main reason why your sisters are Schooling here at base university so that they can come home daily. Mimi have never dreamt of her life been monitored, she always want freedom, her friends are getting it so why won't she,one of the reasons she was against their culture as kanuri's.
She's ready to break those silly rules and culture, she's wants to know how it feels to be free and not under any rules just her own rules,she wants to explore the world her own way
