Best Present

"Jay? You're here?" Hosuh asked, opening the door. He looked to see Jay was peacefully sleeping on top of his keyboards. Hosuh smiled, and entered the house completely. Setting the gift box behind the couch. Hosuh then sat next to Jay and shook him a bit.
"JJ, you sleeping?" No moment, only snoring. Hosuh kissed his forehead and gently slid the computer from under the golden-haired man. 'Three assignments left... I can do that for him.' He thought, beginning to work on them.

Jay slowly opened his eyes. What time was it? Why do I feel heavy? My work! He jolted up, but was startled when he heard a light groan. To his side was a peaceful Hosuh and to put Jay's face lit up like a christmas tree, when he noticed Hosuh was wearing his hoodie. 'That's one of the cutest things.' He thought to himself. Then he remembered his work. They were all due and he didn't finish some. The blonde man opened his computer and saw nothing. All assignments were done and turned in. How's that possible? A thought wrapped around his brain.
"Did HoHo finish these?" He covered the lower part of his face, as he began to blush more.
"Did I do what?" A sleepy boy said. Jay looked to see Hosuh's light blue eyes looking at him. Jay averted his eyes.
"Di-Did you finish my work?"
"Oh, yeah."
"Why?"
"When I came back you were asleep...And had like three assignments left. I didn't want you to stress so I did 'em... With the help of Stephen. I'm sorry if I up-" They grey-haired man was interrupted by his friend hugging him tightly.
"Thank you Hosuh." He said softly. Hosuh returned the hug and smiled.
"Wait what time is it!?" Jay panicked.
"Um around 3AM I think." Jay fell back on the couch.
"The Emo Fair... We missed it... I've ruined your birthday and our anniversary!" He cried. Hosuh pulled the drooping man up.
"Hey now. It's alright," He began, with a kiss to Jay's forehead.
"Nothing's ruined."
"But the plan..."
"What plan?"

"It was supposed to go, breakfast, park, fair, cake, then cuddles..." Jay explained, tearing up again.

"That would have been a fun time, but we don't have to do all of that. Just being on the couch with you would make yesterday special." Jay stared at him for a while. 'He's so precious!' Jay thought, a smile popping up on his face. Hosuh smiled as well.

"Oh yeah. I got you a gift." Hosuh said, bending over the couch and grabbing a large box with wrapping paper.

"Is... that Stephen... wrapping paper?"

"Yeah... That's the only wrapping I had at my house." Jay was still confused at Hosuh's reason.

"Remember two years ago Stephen gave all of us wrapping with him on it?"

"That! I threw that out a month later because my ma's dog tore it up." Hosuh couldn't help but laugh.

"Alright, alright. Enough chit-chat. Open it!" Jay did as told and gasped as to what the held.

"This is the best present ever." He pulled out a large orange slime plushie.

"It's so soft! It even has an adorable face. Ah god dammit!" Jay began to hug the shit out the plushie. Hosuh lit up, to Jay's enjoyment. Jay quickly grabbed Hosuh into the hug.

"Thank you." Hosuh flushed red, with all this affection.

"H-hey you know we can watch that new Luca movie and cuddle." The flustered man suggested.

"True. Can we also eat the ice cream you made?"

"Yes! I'll get it!" Hosuh, slithered from Jay's hug and fast walked to the kitchen. While Hosuh grabbed the ice cream, Jay closed his computer and turned on the tv, setting up the movie. Hosuh returned with two bowls of matcha ice cream. One had chocolate drizzle though.

"Is everything ready?"

"Yep, just waiting for you HoHo." Hosuh set next to Jay, handing him the matcha without chocolate drizzle. Jay's eyes sparkled for the glorious ice cream. Without hesitation he chomped down a spoonful of the matcha. At first he had a smile, but then froze.

"Brain freeze?" Hosuh asked with a smirk. Jay only winced in pain.

"But it's so delicious! Very sweet!" Jay said through pain. Hosuh rolled his eyes and started the movie. Hosuh took a bite of his eye and blushed. It was very sweet.
