Sitting up straight, my eyes snapping open instantly to reveal the sandy shore, and water as far as the eye could see my breathing rapidly increased

Here I was vunerable and unsafe.

I scanned the area around me, my ears listening closely, waiting for sudden noises.

Silence.

Sitting back against the tree I sighed lightly, closing my eyes tightly in fear. I couldn't make any sudden movements. Supposing I did make it through the night, I would have to find somewhere warm and safe to sleep at night.

Planning the day ahead I slowly drifted back to sleep...

Looking across to see a perfect sun rise, I became breathless. It was moments like that I lived for. Just like rainbows and warm beverages around the fire on chilly winter days.

Getting to my feet and looking around nervously, before walking off in one direction to see what happened the night before, curiosity getting the better of me.

After walking for at least 15 minutes, my stomache growled hungrily as I sighed. Surely there must be some kind of life here to hunt for food. If that noise was an animal, there must be some kind of food source around here.

My heart rate increased excitedly, thinking about what would lie ahead in the future as I saw something move in the trees.

Creeping closer, only inches away from this creature I peeped through some leaves to reveal a tall lurking figure beside me...
