You Are The Only One - Part 2

Siya's POV

"What the hell does that girl trying to do? Ruining our reputation like this and even more slandering Arghav and Sumiya. Outrageous" I heard mom yelled angrily.

My mind is not working. Nandini was so happy that I am finally going to get married but suddenly she said such thing. Since we know eachother she never lied to me. It is true but now the point has reached where one side is my best friend and other side has Arghav. Arghav and I are together for almost 10 years now. We have been continuing to reach our goal before settling down. He was always that sweet, gentle and understanding. He never gave me any chance to complain nor we ever has any fight all this years. We are all good without any tragedies in our relationship. Then why.... suddenly something occurred in my mind. Yes, our relationship is too sweet, no fight, no misunderstanding, no jealousy and no compromises that happens in other relationship. It was like a smooth sail or it was made to be smooth without any doubts.

"Arghav is always understanding and committed to this relationship with Siya. How come someone just barged in like that?" I heard Arghav's mom said.

"We should stop all this. Since she is already out of the way I think we should resume the ceremony" Arghav's dad suggested.

"You are right" I heard dad said at the end "because of some misunderstanding we should not ruin this night. It is special after all"

Mom stepped forward "darling, I know you like her and treat her well but she is worth your attention. Look what she did today. Almost ruining your perfect life and even slandering Arghav and ruining our reputation in the society. From now on you should stay away from her and never meet her again"

"Your mom is right Siya. You shouldn't let your mood ruin because of some low class girl. She does not deserve to be your best friend. In future you should choose more reliable one" Arghav's mom commented.

I did not replied to them. They never liked Nandini. So I can't expect them to be warm to her. Now that they got a chance they will throw every mud they could pick. I sighed internally and gazed towards door. Even after all this I couldn't find a heart not to believe her. But Arghav...

"Siya" Arghav stood before me "I know what are you thinking. She is your best friend and always will be. But what happened today is something I can't also accept. I understand there must be some misunderstanding about this matter but she accused me of cheating behind your back" he hold my hand "you can't believe her like that are you? We have been together years now and also know that I love you so much to even think of cheating. You know I will never do that don't you?" His face is gentle and looks so understanding. He did not reacted much but stayed calm and collected. He even comforting me now. Why he is so calm despite the fact he has been accused. This too much of a understanding, little too much where you can't even compare with some other.

"Siya what are you thinking. Let's finish the ceremony. Everyone is still here. We shouldn't waste anymore time" mom said happily. They smiled and looked happy again like the earlier incident has happened before.

"Siya come on. You should trust Arghav. Nandini is just jealous because you are going to get married and she is not" I turned to look at Sumiya who stepped forward with smile and ring box in her hand. But before she could give the box suddenly she placed her hand on her head and without notice fell on floor.

"Sumiya" mom shouted and we all looked at her with shock. What the hell is happening?

Nandini's POV

I walked aimlessly on road. What I am going to do now. They are too rich and the guards won't let me in. How I am going to save Siya now? I was so much engrossed in thoughts that I did not heard the car horn. Suddenly a light fleshed on my face and my eyes widened as I saw the red car coming towards me. My heart dropped on and my legs rooted on the spot unmoving. But before the car could hit me I felt my elbow is gripped and my body jerked on the side.
