Izuku and Nathanial's classroom was full of students by the time they arrived. With students of various shapes and sizes and even species thanks to their quirks.
Izuku sat at his desk in the back corner of the classroom, closest to one of the two doors. He's working on his hero analysis notebook by looking at old entries and seeing what can be added to them. Sitting to Izuku's left was Nathanial, who had his head on his desk. But, despite the poster seemed to be keeping a close eye on one specific person in their class.
The person Nathanial was watching was a boy with fair skin, spiky blond hair, and red eyes. He had a decently muscular build and wore the same uniform as Nathanial and Izuku. Besides wearing brown shoes instead of their shoes. The boy had his feet on the desk and leaned back with a bored expression.
Ever since arriving, Nathanial had been watching the boy like a hawk. The boy took a few glances towards his and Izuku's direction from time to time. Each time the boy did, Nathanial would tense up, and the wavy purplish-black substance would begin to emit from his arms. The boy saw this and glared in his direction, which Nathanial returned.
Before anything could happen, though. A man with brown hair with a buzzcut and blue eyes. He wore a plaid business shirt and black pants with brown shoes. The man held a stack of papers under his arm.
"Good morning, class." The man said cheerily.
"Morning." A few members of the class say. Including Izuku, but excluding Nathanial and the blond boy.
"Today, I have your career aptitude test results. While I know you all want to become heroes, it's always nice to have secondary career options, in case that doesn't work out or you want to retire early." The teacher states with a smile.
"Hey, teach." The blond boy Nathanial was watching says.
The teacher looks over to the boy, who arrogantly smirked.
"Don't lump me in with any of these rejects. Unlike them, I won't be stuck at the bottom." The blond boy said with a smirk.
"That was uncalled for, Bakugou!" One student shouts in outrage.
"Yeah, you think you're better than us?" Another student questions in annoyance.
"You all should shut up. Like the extras you are." Bakugou said with a smirk.
"You applied to go to U.A, right, Bakugou?" The teacher questions as he takes a paper off his desk as if looking for confirmation on what he just said.
"You've got to be kidding me?"
"The top hero school of Japan?"
"I heard it was in the top 0.2% this year."
"They have an atrociously low acceptance rate too."
"Ha, that's why you all are only extras. I aced the mock test. I'm the only one at this pathetic school with any chance of going to U.A. I'll definitely be the one to surpass All Might and become the top hero. My name will forever be inscribed on the list of top earners!" Bakugou exclaims with an arrogant smirk as he points to himself and has his eyes closed.
"Midoriya, Moore, you two are planning to try out for U.A too, right?" The teacher questions.
Upon hearing that, Nathanial immediately glares at the teacher and stands up to get in a position between Izuku and Bakugou.
While he did that, the other students looked at an embarrassed Izuku before laughing like they heard the greatest joke in the world.
"Midoriya, attending U.A. That's hilarious."
