Nathanial stood in front of the Spider Nomu with his hands glowing with his energy-like poison. He glared at the nomu and kept his focus on the Spider Nomu's stingers and arms.
"Last chance, kid. Go back over to your friends. I'd prefer not to get too rough with the hostages. If you want to play hero, you'll face the same consequences they do." Spider Nomu warned Nathanial.
Nathanial only glared definitely at Spider Nomu.
"Keep your body loose watch for when he's going to make a move. Then when he does, dodge and strike. Nomus usually have multiple powers to go with their strong armor. That means you'll definitely lose if you only rely on playing zombie. You should try and do hit and run tactics to get an area in the armor weak." Nathanial thinks as he takes a deep breath.
"Is Moore crazy? That's a nomu."
"Only upper-class pro heroes have been able to beat those things."
The students muttered amongst themselves as they watched Nathanial stare down the Spider Nomu. They all had looks of shock, fear, or worry on their faces as they talked.
"Alright, kid, don't say I didn't warn you." The Spider nomu said.
He sends his spider-leg stingers racing towards Nathanial. Nathanial, seeing this, rolls to the left. As he does, he throws an orb of the poison at Spider Nomu. The orb crashes into Spider Nomu's chest. Sadly, it didn't seem to have the wanted effect or any effect.
"Really, kid? You seriously thought you had a chance against this armor. These things can take down a group of heroes. You must be pretty spoiled and ignorant to think you stand a chance against me in this." Spider Nomu laughs.
"One of you idiots better be calling the police or some pro heroes. I need to buy a little time if I can't win." Nathanial thinks as he gets up.
"Why are you even here? What use could you have attacking a school?" Nathanial questions.
"It's nothing personal to you kids or the school. I've just offered this power and a nice sum of money to keep everyone inside. I don't know why and I don't know when you're all free to go. All I know is that I was given a task in exchange for a nice set of benefits to allow my life of crime to be easy." Spider Nomu explains.
"Of fucking course, I'm stuck with a mercenary that would rather not know anything. I was hoping I could help grandpa and All Might out with this guy." Nathanial thinks in annoyance.
Nathanial throws several more orbs of poison, trying to at least scratch the nomu. Unfortunately, like the first orb, the attacks don't do any damage. Spider Nomu doesn't even bother trying to block them.
Nathanial clicks his tongue in annoyance upon seeing this.
"Look, kid, just let me sting you. I'd rather not have the blood of someone under eighteen on my hands." Spider Nomu says in a bored and annoyed tone.
He quickly ducks out of the way of the stingers and charges at Spider Nomu.
"I can't pull my punches with this guy. I need to get in close and hit him with my best moves." Nathanial thinks as he charges.
Spider Nomu allows Nathanial to get closer to him. Then when Nathanial was less than ten feet in front of him, Spider Nomu's helmet mask opened slightly and released an electrified web. Nathanial slides under it and quickly tries to get up. However, that split second he attempted to get up was all the time Spider Nomu needed. Nathanial found three stingers strike his body, injecting the paralysis into him.
"Finally. You are such an annoying kid. Why did I have to guard a school with a wannabe hero? Brats like him are always stubborn and unwilling to give up." Spider Nomu mutters in annoyance.
