Here I am at the airport waiting for the next flight to Japan. I'm excited but slightly scared, what if the people at my new school don't like me? Mom and I board the plane and I stare quietly out the window. The ocean is so pretty from up here! I pull out the book I was reading earlier and read 3 or 4 chapters before drifting off to sleep.
I wake up to my mother shaking me. "Don't make me go to schooolll" I grumble as she continues to shake me. "Come on sweetie we're here" she says in that sweet mom voice of hers. "Already?" I ask giving her a puzzled look 'did I really sleep that long?' I think to myself. We get off the plane and I stare at this whole new world known as Japan. "Wow" I breath staring at the view. "Its beautiful" she replies.
"You got that right." I stare in amazement. "I thought it would look different." "We better get a move on", my mother says. "I can't wait to see the new house." "Let's hope it's not too much of a fixer upper." She replies. " Yeah I don't want to have to spend a month fixing up an old house." " Well the real estate agent said it shouldn't be that bad, the last tenant was a neat freak" She stated.
We decided to walk to our new house since it was a nice day out. Luckily it wasn't that far from the airport. Unfortunately that meant that we would have to hear planes flying to and from of the airport. It was very warm outside luckily. I hope it we'll stay this way for a while. When we arrived at our new house I noticed that it was kind of small, but that was okay as long as we had a roof over our heads. When went inside it was a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house, that would fit perfectly since there was two of us. Exhausted and happy to be in an actual house I retired to my new room and started unpacking. I was hoping to finish before it was too late so I could get a bit of sleep. I have to start school soon and I don't want to be sleeping class.
