Rengoku finally made it to your parents house. He was nervous for sure...but he took a deep breath and knock on the door.
*Knock* *knock*
The door opened.
"Oh you must be rengoku y/n has told us so much about, come on in"
It was non other then your mom.
"Honey look who came to pay us a visit"
Your mom left in the kitchen to bring some tea out.
"It's nice to you see rengoku"
Your father reached his hand for rengoku to shake.
Rengoku took his hand and shook your father's hand.
"Now what brings you here today mr.rengoku"
Your father asked him while taking a seat.
Rengoku took a seat as well.
Your mother came back from the kitchen with some tea.
"Thank you miss l/n"
"No problem Sweetie"
Your mother then sat down as well.
Rengoku took a deep breath and then proceeded to tell them why he came.
"I came here today to ask a favor of you two"
Rengoku asked them
"Go on"
Your father said
"I came here to say, that I love your child, and I will do what ever It takes to keep them happy. I will also look after them. You see ever since I met your them..I had this feeling I never felt before..I normally don't get that nervous or shy..but when I'm with them I get that feeling. Their smile is my everything. Seeing them happy makes me knowing that they are alright and safe. When I see them upset it breaks me into pieces and makes me want to find who ever hurt them and make them apologize for hurting them... because your child does not deserve to be sad...they are also the most good looking person I have ever laid eyes on..like an angel....so the reason I came here..."
Rengoku then proceeded to pull out a small box..he then opened it and showed your parents...
"I came here to ask for your permission to marry your child"
Your mother was in tears..but they were happy tears. Your father was also tearing up a bit..
"My boy...of you can promise me one thing...."
Rengokus face lit up
"If you can promise me to look out for them, they can be reckless at times and it scares me and their mother..I was against them joining the demon slayer corps..but it made them happy when they found out they wanted to join..so I let them...but please look after them...there are times were they won't think and just go off....so do you promise you will look after them for us"
Your father stood up looking at rengoku
Rengoku was still surprised..but he then noded
"I promise you sir I will do what ever I can to look after them and I will keep them safe"
Your father smiled
"You want to hug me don't you?"
Your father said
"Yes"
Rengoku said with tears coming down
"Come here"
Rengoku than gave your a father a big hug.
He let go and gave your mother a hug as well.
"Thank you mirs. And Mr. L/n"
"Your welcome Mr. Rengoku now go make our kid happy"
Your father said to him with a smile on his face
Rengoku nodded.he thanked your parents..waved them good bye and went on his way to ask you to marry him....and become his significant other
