Whilst Rasazy cleaned and readied herself for rest the day, Selever had started looking around for his mother. She usually kept close to the church, but as of now, she was seemingly nowhere to be found. Having no other alternatives to finding her whereabouts, he reluctantly turned to ask who had to be his worst enemy. His very own father.

With a heavy and exaggerated sigh, he started a pace towards the kitchen.

Ruvyzvat was seated on one of the many chairs around the dining table, sharpening some of his knives and blades. He glanced up for a moment, having heard someone enter the room, before turning back at what he was doing after seeing who it was. The two of them had always clashed, and their bond was only getting worse with time.

"Where's mom?" Sel took no bother to exchange morning greetings, getting straight to the point he had come here for. Accent thick, Ruv responded, "She went out a few minutes ago. Not sure where, but she said she'll be gone for a couple hours."

"Oh.. Hell yeah!" Along with making a slight fist pump in the air, the teenager's expression near instantly lit up at those words. He and Ras would have enough free time to map out their ideas and stay rather unbothered now.

Although, with Selevers usual chaotic energy, his reaction would lead to subtle suspicion from his father. "You better not be planning to start trouble." Ruv grumbled, fiddling with a velvet-handled blade before gently resting it on the table before him.

Rasazy entered the room at a similar time to when Selever would've started protesting, which ultimately would end in more argument. "For once he's not trying to do anything wrong." She mumbled, rubbing the sleepy from her eyes before looking between the two of them.

The father and son quickly exchanged glances, Selever subtly taunting by sticking out his tongue in a silent raspberry and Ruv quietly scowling at him. For once, Selever was able to prove him wrong.

"Mama's Birthday's tomorrow, we're just trying to plan something for her. Surely you knew?" She pointed out, the former criminal's gaze snapping towards his daughter just seconds after she finished speaking. Clearly he, too, had been unaware.

Quietly he cursed at himself under his breath, glancing between his two children before daring to speak again. "..And what are you planning to do?"

"That's what we still need to figure out." Selever responded swiftly, turning and approaching Ruv with a strictly pointed index finger to emphasize his point. "And for whatever we end up deciding, you better not screw this up. No letting your selfish ass ruin this for her too."

Having finished saying what he wanted to, he turned on his heel and started to leave. He didn't bother to wait for Ruv's response, it not being worth his while.

Sel brushed past his sister, who had been silently watching them and their tense conversation for the past few moments, tugging on her oversized jacket sleeve and urging her to follow before continuing at a slower pace.

Rasazy's gaze stayed on her father's face for a few seconds, eyes scanning for any hint of emotion upon it. It was overall dull, maybe ever so slightly hurt by the recent events, but otherwise hard to read.

Recently Ruv had seemingly been growing more dense with his ways of expressing himself, as if reverting back to how he had been towards Sarvente far in the past. His expressions were usually hard to read but now it'd be nearly impossible.

The petite girl would then avert her line of sight, going to follow after her sibling with a small sigh. The feeling of choosing one relative over the other strongly burdened her, but she was conflicted with no alternative choices.
