Crystal knocked on her mother's door embarrassed.

"Who is it?" Sharron, her mother, said.

"Mama it's me Crystal." She softly yelled.

Sharron had a confused look on her face, since her and Crystal haven't talked in a while.

"Girl what you doing out her at this time of night?" Sharron said while opening the door.

"Mama, I don't have no where to go." She said while quickly hugging her. Sharron hugged her back, still confused, but insisted to wait to ask her any questions.

"Girl come in here and lay down, we gone talk about it in the morning."

Crystal walked in and seen someone looking down at her from upstairs.

"Is that Maya? I haven't seen her in so long omg." She quietly said.

"That's because you never wanna come around and see us." Maya said.

Maya is Renaes daughter that stayed with Sharon because her mother claimed to be unstable at the moment. Renae never came to pick her up.

Crystal walked to the couch and sat down trying to process it all. She was tired of crying and honestly had no tears left to cry.

She got a blanket and fell asleep on the couch.

The next morning...

"Bae I gotta go see Maya today." Renae said to Ty.

"Ight, she better not be coming back you know ion deal with kids."

"I know Ty, I just haven't seen her in a while, I know my mama gone be mad at me."

"Ok, but I gotta go to work baby." He said giving her a kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too." She said kissing him back.

She got up and walked to her car and made her way to Sharon's house.

Inside the house, Sharon, Crystal, and Maya were sitting on the couch watching tv.

"Alright, so tell me what happened Crystal."

"Ok so last night I found out-." She got interrupted by a knock on the door.

"I'm coming." Sharon said as she walked to the door to open it.

"Hey mama!" Renae said as the door opened.

"Girl I got a bone to pick with you." She said going back to sit down.

Crystal saw Renae and her stomach instantly turned. She tried her best to hold back tears, and her anger.

"How you get over here anyways, I thought yo car was broke."

"It was, but I got a new one." Renae said.

"So you can buy a new car but can't get this child?"

"Mama it's a long story, at least i'm paying you for helping me."

"$75 a week ain't nothing."

Renae looked over at Crystal and rolled her eyes.

"Mama, i'm over here because that hoe over there was chasing my leftovers." Crystal said.

"Don't talk like that while this child over here." Sharon mugged.

"Watch ya mouth-."

"Bitch you nasty, how you gone do that to your own sister?" Crystal said getting up and walking to her.

"You obviously lacked something I don't, you being mad aint gone affect me and my relationship with him." Renae said. "I ain't even trynna argue with you."

"Girl you got a lot of nerve." Sharon said.

"You can't even see he's only doing this to make
me mad."

"And what you mean by that? I'm not good enough to be with a man like Ty?"

"I'm not saying that."

"Then shut up."

"You just desperate to have a man, you don't care about your child or your family." Crystal yelled. "Try to be a mother for once."

"Bitch you couldn't have a child even if you tried, and my child knows i'm busy. And until you get a child then you can tell me how to parent, until then, i am her mother."

Renaes phone ringed and she saw it was Ty.

"Look at him, calling me now." She chuckled. Before she could answer, Crystal punched her in the phone.

They ended up fighting, and Sharon broke it up.

"Renae you dead wrong!" Sharon yelled.

"Why you always taking her side?" Renae yelled back.

"Yell at me one more time."

"You know what, I can't even say hey to my child." Renae said walking over to Maya."

Crystal cried as she ran into the bathroom.

"Baby i'm sorry I couldn't even talk to you today, I gotta go. I love you." Renae said making Maya roll her eyes because she knew she was lying.
