The herrscher hummed in curiosity as she saw the girl in front of her let go of her scythe.
"I'm not here to fight you." Milie said with the calmest voice she could manage. All she could think of was fear.
"Really?" The herrscher thought for a moment a suspicious look on her face. She looked up and continued, "why would a Valkyrie not want to fight me?"
Milie gulped, "I want to join you." The girl stood looking up at the other fear still holding onto her.
"Hmmm, I'll listen but not here" she turned around motioning for Milie to follow, "we shall return later."
Milie complied and followed the instructions she was given. Why did I have to be chosen? Is it because I'm not a known Valkyrie? Milie questioned the actions of the overseer.
"Hurry up, if you don't Valkyries will be here before we escape." The herrscher said as she opened a portal to the void. Becoming impatient she pulled Milie in.
As Milie entered she began to feel uneasy. Yes, she was used to being in the dark but not like this.
The herrscher made chairs and sat down while Milie was in thought. She noticed this and sat down as well.
"So why would you want to join me?" The herrscher questioned her.
Milie tensed not knowing how to answer. But then it came. "I have the same objective as you. Wipe out humanity."
The herrscher hummed in amusement "why would a human want to destroy their own race? No use questioning it." She said slowly. She rested her chin in her hand deep in though.
She sat up straight again "what's your name, human?" She questioned.
"M-Milie." She responded quickly stuttering. "What's yours?"
The herrschers eyes widened "Sirin" she responded after regaining her composure.
