Go Ahead..

I tightened my towel around me  , my hair was dripping water all over my floor. "I guess.." He patted the spot on the bed next to him. I walked over and sat as far away from him as possible. "I was just hugging her man. She's obsessed with me" "August maybe we rushed into this relationship... " He paused for a moment than got up and walked out the door. I closed my door , I know it's sorta dumb I got mad about that , but the way he had his arms wrapped around her is the same way he wraps his arms around me. I dropped my towel and slipped on shorts and a bikini top , I ran some hair gel through my curls . I decided a nice walk on the beach might clear my mind. I put my headphones on and started towards the beach. I've only been here two months and it's been hectic. From my relationship problems to family problems. My father is becoming sicker and sicker everyday. I don't know what I would do if I lost him . I hadn't realized I was crying until I felt my face get hot. I wiped it away. I dialed August's number.....No answer. Fuck. I ran my fingers through my now messy afro . I felt rain drops , this day can't get any worse. I started walking back home , this car has passed me at least six times. I felt my heart drop , I started running as fast as I could. "HEY MA , WHATCHU RUNNING FO?" Can't answer my calls but is following me in his car I turned around and walked towards the car. I got inside and he smiled at me, eyes bright and glossy. " Are you high? " I said annoyed. "Why does it matter? you don't care about me" "Just take me home August" He pulled up to my house , even though I was upset with him , I didn't want him to leave. "Please come inside.. " he looked up at me and turned off the car. I got out and he followed , my father was asleep in his bed , I kissed him on the cheek and closed his door. I don't know where my "step mother" was and I sure as hell don't care. August was passed out in my bed , by the time I got upstairs. I took off my top and shorts . I grabbed my towel , and got in the shower I smelled like a wet dog. After I got out I threw on a baggy T and a bra and panties. I brushed out my hair and got in bed next to August , he wrapped his arms around me I snuggled close to him and fell asleep. I woke up to the sun shinning in my face , August was still asleep.  "Wake up man" I said poking him in his face . "Your so annoying" he said with his eyes closed . I  scrunched up my nose "that's why I don't like you" I said getting out of bed. I took the baggy shirt off and slipped on yellow shorts , a black crop top , a jean jacket and black & white high top converse. I left my hair in a curly mess, I applied a little bit of make up. I sat on my bed and waited for August to get out the shower. Once he was out I left so he could get dressed  , I opened my father's bedroom door, he looked up at me "My beautiful daughter" "How are you feeling daddy? " "So much better, I have an appointment today, head to school baby girl I'll be alright " I walked in the kitchen and grabbed the grapes his favorite, I handed them to him and he smiled. I walked outside and August was waiting in the car for me.
